Movelist

[A] Beam Rifle "Shorty"

Strike Noir's signature pistols. One input gives you two shots and two gives you four shots. a little on the weaker side compared to other BR's but it has a nice clip size and when used correctly can be effective.

[CSa] "Shorty" Rapid Fire

Strike Noir lets loose a barrage of BR's rapidly at the target. CSa can be aimed at more than one opponent and doesn't affect the ammo of your main weapon. Can be a good sometimes, but its an attack that should be used sparingly and at the right moments.

[AB] Twin Railgun

Fires 2 large railguns shots that travel at a good speed and can be combo'd into one another for really great damage. Only holds two charges but reloads at a good pace. Can be used both offensively for punishes and defensively against over aggressors.

[AC] Cartwheel Shot

Strike Noir becomes mobile and lets loose a barrage of BR's. AC neural will send Strike Noir straight up and spin in a cone while AC 4 or 6 make him cartwheel in the chosen direction and fire. This move holds 2 charges but like the railgun its reload time is pretty solid. this moves gives your shots good tracking and HUGE mobility. Can be used both offensively and defensively and can give you extra evasion in clutch moments.

[bC] Anchor Launcher

Strike Noir launches an anchor and flies upward and towards the chosen input direction. this move is great for positioning and defense and makes Strike Noir's Mobility and general evasiveness stronger.

[CSb] Call Verde Buster

Strike Noir summons a one of his teammates who then lets out a long range beam attack. the attack is thin and has ok power. its good for starting your approach at the beginning of a match and other situations. It can also be combo'd into.

[ABC] Burst Attack

Strike Noir lunges at a quick speed and melees his opponent beginning a combo which will automatically finish if you hit your opponent. This move is situational but can be very strong if used correctly. The attack actually does a TON of damage and the rush has super armor on it so it can be used in sticky situations to absorb a hit and land some serious damage. However it is not without flaws as the animation for the combo is realllllllly long and is easily cut-able if your opponents partner is aware of the situation.

Welcome to the Raphael General Discussion! Feel free to talk about anything relating to Raphael Gundam gameplay here~

JP Wiki: http://www4.atwiki.jp/arcgundamexvsfuvo/pages/80.html

Movelist

Raphael has two states:

-Seravee II backpack is "docked" on his back

-Seravee II is "undocked" and can move/attack independent of Raphael, also adds a small mobility increase to Raphael

Docked

[A]- GN Beam Rife (80 damage/8 ammo)

Standard A rifle. Can combo up to up to three shots as standard. Has 8 ammo.

GN Big Claw

Sends the two GN Big Claws off of the Backpack to strike the opponent to return after. They travel a set distance before stopping momentarily to lunge forward. Pressing [A] anytime before the lunge will cause them to stop and each fire a laser of their own and return immediately after. Lasers from GN Big Claws do not cost ammo, but the shot fired with [A] obviously does. [2B] will not send the GN Big Claws out and will instead make Raphael do a short tackle, which pressing anytime the GN Big Claws are out will also do.

[AB] GN Big Cannon (214 damage)

A large gerobi that Raphael fires from the Backpack.

*Note that it can't be used if the GN Big Claws are out.

[AC] GN Big Cannon (Rolling Fire) (90 or 162 damage)

Raphael spins while shooting large gerobi-like lasers in two directions out of the Backpack. If it hits the enemy it stuns them.

*Note that it can't be used if the GN Big Claws are out.

[bC] Seravee II Undock

Seravee II undocks and allows Raphael to control it independently from him. Undocking lasts until the ammo counter has reached zero, where Seravee II will return to Raphael and redock itself once again as a backpack. Two seconds afterwards it will begin to refill once again. Raphael starts each life with this ammo full (a new change to Full Boost).

Undocked

While undocked, Seravee II will follow Raphael closely behind as if it is an assist. It isn't restricted to being in a certain distance or position to Raphael, and by using certain commands it can be setup in advantageous positions. Certain commands cause it to stop movement, which after finishing the command Seravee II will attempt to return to Raphael.

[A] GN Beam Rifle (80 damage/ 8 ammo)

Same as Raphael's normal beam rifle when docked, but now Seravee II will fire its own laser as well. Seravee II's laser does not have an ammo restriction.

[AB] Seravee II Rush (30 or 94 damage/ 3 ammo)

Seravee II rushes forward in the indicated direction (ie. [7AB] will cause Seravee II to rush in the left-forward direction). If it comes into contact with a player it will hold on to them for a short period before causing a small explosion. Useful for manipulating the position of Seravee II, especially after a knockdown.

[AC] Seravee II GN Bazooka (212 damage for non-rolling/ 80 or 144 for rolling)

Not pressing any direction will cause Seravee II to fire a gerobi much like the one Raphael has while docked. Pressing in any direction while inputting the command will cause Seravee II to fire two gerobis in opposite direction while spinning, much like Raphael's Rolling Fire([AC]) while docked. The Rolling Fire move with Seravee II is very useful on oki.

[bC] Seravee II Stop

Stops Seravee II from moving and allows it to stay stationary until further instruction. Pressing [bC] a second time will allow Seravee II to resume its normal movement.

[ABC while awakened] EX Burst Attack (311 damage in Assault/ 297 damage in Blast)

Raphael fires a gerobi both from the suit himself and from Seravee II. If he is docked it will fire from the backpack and if he is undocked it will fire from wherever Seravee II is located.

EXVS->FB Raphael Changes

Overall

-Starts with Backpack at 100

-Can no longer step cancel Sub

-AC size increased

-Camera change during re-docking

Docked

-Mobility improved

-Melee bit firing now has more blowback and is easier to combo off of, travels faster, improved muzzle correction.

-AC range improved

-side AC speed lowered

-New melee followup from 2B

Undocked

-Can now give seravee orders while blocking

-Separation cool down: 6sec → 2sec [not to be confused with reload time]

-New cancel routes: Sub → AC, AC→Sub,

-Sub (tackle) ammo 2→3, travels further

-AC improved reload time and size

-5AC guidance improved

-6B improved

Strategy

This suit plays as a better back than it does as a front, but still is very versatile suit that can work in many situations. Raphael has only one melee attack, which means that you want to try staying at long range as much as possible. Try to have Seravee II undocked as much as possible, since not only are you more mobile but Raphael is a much better suit overall when undocked.

After landing a knockdown with Seravee II undocked there are a few things you can do for great oki. Using [4/6 AC] is great on oki, since it forces them into the beam if they don't know how to properly avoid it. Another option is to use [AB] to move Seravee II behind the opponent to create a sort of sandwich between you and Seravee II.

If you find anything that you feel needs to be changed or have anything to add to it post so down below! Let's make this a good place for Raphael information and discussion! ^_^

Special thanks to Umareru for the help :D

This is gonna be WIP for a long time, since there are so many 2500s for me to go through

Move List

[A] - Burning Finger Cannon

Shoot's a pillar of flame from God's right hand. Locks the opponent in place allowing either melee follow up or additional pillars to knockdown.

[CSa] - Sekiha Tenkyoken

School of the Undefeated of the East's Secret Technique.

Has 3 variations Level 1 Charge small fireball that causes knockdown on hit.

Level 2 Larger Fireball does more damage than level 1

Level 3 Launches a giant burning hand that does increased damage and has a bigger hit box, causes and explosion on contact with the ground or another mobile suit/fighter.

[CSb] - Choukyuu Haou Den'eidan

God Gundam surrounds him self in energy and charges towards the target, same move as Master Gundams but not as good due to being a charge move.

[AB] - Fuun Saiki

Calls out Fuun Saiki, Master Asia's beloved steed to charge into the target.

[AC] - God Field

Dashing move that has additional follow ups and can be used to cancel melee attacks like Rainbow steps.

Follow ups are

AC~B Kendo like strike with a beam saber, B can be inputted up to three times causing a knockdown.

AC~8B God strikes the enemy up and behind him with a saber, used as a combo ender instead of Cannon due to changes

AC~2B God Typhoon, Spinning attack with both sabers, causes God to rise up a bit while doing so.

AC~Rainbow Step Causes God to do a Roll instead of the normal Rainbow step

AC~A God Slash, ranged slash. Good for approaching can be canceled into Melee attacks when not Overheated, exception to this is 2B.

[bC] - Erupting Burning Finger

God Gundam's signature move, causes God to move towards the opponent with the same speed as God Field. Has one hit of super armor during the dash of the move. Typically used as a Melee String ender depending on the location of the target's partner. Also B can be mashed after the grab for increased damage.

Now also has two follow ups unlike Vanilla EXVS.

Pressing 8B During Burning Finger now throws the opponent.

Pressing 2B During Hyper Mode *Activated* Burning Finger now follows up with Heat End.

[2B] - God Shadow

Summons four "shadows" of God gundam that circle around him negating one beam shot per Shadow, does have a few deadzones due to the distance away from God and the Shadow's themselves. Can be useful for getting in but don't always rely on it.

FB Changes

Main (Fire Pillar) doesn't down after the stun anymore (light stun), has slightly longer range and is slightly wider, but has worse muzzle correction. As a result, abare is a lot worse.

CSa startup nerfed, but now preserves much more momentum

2B (God Shadow) vertical hitbox improved, shots are less likely to slip through.

Sub became Fuun Saiki summon (vulcans removed - Edit: NOOOOOOOOO~~~~!!)

God Field (AC) has different followups. Most important is AC→A which is God Slash, a new ranged sword slash. You can also cancel it into melee afterwards (after 6/26 patch, can no longer cancel into melee on overheat aside from 2B)

God Finger (BC) damage from mashing B is now added on the grasp portion, not the explosion (good thing). Now has a throw followup (8B) in addition (like NEXT). You can followup with a BD melee or rainbowstep into melee. During awakening, does not automatically go into Heat End anymore. Heat End is now a followup (2B) which can only be done during awakening. If you don't input it, you just get a normal explosion. Heat End also does less damage now, making his God Finger combos do less damage (GFHE > GFHE dmg ~380 → ~360)

Awakening Super now normally does a Double God Finger with Nobel Gundam. performing the super while holding 2 gives you the previous Love Love Tenkyoken

Combos

Note: -> means normal cancel, >> means boost dash cancel, > means rainbowstep cancel

All combo's with BC, B is mashed for max damage

For Burst combo's, (A) signifies Assault Burst Damage, (B) signifies Blast Burst Damage

5BBBBB->8B>BC8 254

Core Strategy/Advice

~WIP~

-general gameplan
GP02a is kind of a special mech even as far as this game goes. He primarily a melee mech but has other oddball options like MG, nuke, and assists. From vanilla, they essentially buffed all of his options across the board in addition to bringing his cost from 2000 to 2500. At a very high level, the general gameplan for GP02a is to land nuke hits and bully people with CSb melee. Of course, this leaves out the most important aspect of this game - neutral. Even with the red lock range buff he received, you will often find yourself hard pressed to chase people down from neutral. Here are some general tips for playing the neutral game not involving nukes (that will be for a different section):

-- Poke with MG. Safe option, gives you really big advantage on block to approach. Lots of ammo, 120!!!
-- Always activate CSb. Gives you super armor on startup of slash moves (don't rely on it too much though) as well as increased melee reach/damage for when you can get those chances
-- Play footsies with your assists. I've recently started using Dom Tropen more and found he works surprisingly well in forcing the opponent to move (sometimes wastefully which gives you/your teammate a great opportunity to approach). Xamiel comes out extremely fast for decent forced movement
-- Play footsies (cont). After you activate CSb, good players will be wary of your melee giving you a chance to play a very intimidating neutral footsie game when your in red lock. Use the above methods (and nuke) to get in the zone and stay there

Cancel Routes

~WIP~

Combos

Note: -> means normal cancel, >> means boost dash cancel, > means rainbowstep cancel

Team Composition Advice

~WIP~

Other information

Concerns regarding fighting specific suits, picking assault or blast burst, and miscellaneous details go here.

I typically go with assault burst as I've seen many others do the same. You have the gimmick of multiple nuke combos, but really the speed boost to chase people down as a melee mech is what's so appealing about this burst. More damage is also always nice.

Movelist

[A] Muramasa Blaster: Beam Gun

Regular beam rifle. Has 6 shots and charges.

[CSa] Atomic Shell

A nuke similar to Turn A. You only get one per life.

[AB] Burning Log

Tosses 2 burning logs that stun on hit. They're fairly mediocre, due to the slow speed that they're thrown at. 1 ammo that reloads decently quick.

[AC] MS Hammer

The X-3 swings around and tosses a Quavarze. You can hit this point blank, and at the right angle, can be hit twice. Might be okay point blank if you want to take a risk, but is terrible if you're just trying to use it as a projectile.

[bC] I-Field Dash

The X-3 dashes towards the locked target with an I-Field in front of him. The I-Field in front of him will also block a limited amount of beam damage. Has 1 ammo that reloads somewhat slow, so be sure to use it when you really need it.

[5B] Muramasa Blaster: Beam Saber

Standard beam saber, charges. Chains into a 3 hit combo that does around 170 damage.

[4B/6B] Heat Daggers

Tobia brings out his heat daggers and smacks the opponent. Chains into a 3 hit combo that does about 138 damage.

[2B] Jumping Beam Zanber

The X-3 jumps at the opponent with its Beam Zanber. On hit, does an auto 2 hit combo. The real use that this move gives is whiffing it after using a few long-range BR shots to give a quick, safe return to the ground.

[bD8B] Beam Saber Stab

Tobia dashes to the opponent and stabs them into a auto 2 hit combo. Not terribly impressive.

[csB] Safety Release

The X-3 releases 14 wide beam sabers on the Muramasa Blaster. This mode increases your melee damage, and changes up your basic combo chains.

[ABC] EX Burst Attack

X-3 dashes toward the target, then stabs them, doing a chain of melee hits.

My name is Bre- No, right now I'm Mr. Bushido. This thread is for everything Susa related.

JP Wiki: http://www4.atwiki.jp/arcgundamexvsfuvo/pages/75.html

Move List

[A] - Nyuukon
Puts Susa into a pose, powering himself temporarily. Nyuukon gives the following benefits:

1) Increased guidance, damage, and number of hits for CSa

2) Increased size for Sub

3) Improved damage off all basic melees

4) Improved damage for 2B, including self-damage

Susa loses Nyuukon under any of the following conditions:

1) Performs a CSa or Sub

2) Whiffs a melee

3) Cancels out of a melee using rainbowsteps or BD's

4) Performs side or vertical BC

However if he cancels either CSa or Sub into 5BC, he will remain Nyuukon'd after firing the buffed projectile.

Melee attacks you can cancel into Nyuukon:

-Boostdash Melee (2nd hit)

-8BB (last hit)

-5B(B)~8B (2 or 3hit)

-6B(B)~8B (last hit)

[CSa] - Graham Chakram aka Pizza / Disc
Throws a disc that travels towards the opponent slowly, but with good guidance

In Trans-am, gains the following commands:

5 CSa - same as the old Trans-am CSa, fires one single disc with excellent tracking.

4/6 CSa - fires two discs at the same time slightly towards the left and right sides, still heading towards your target. Similar to Destiny's boomerang in terms of trajectory and usage. Very useful at mid / close range

2/8 CSa - fires two discs in rapid succession directly towards the target. Great for chasing fleeing opponents or tagging landings, moreso than side. In addition, there is no middle deadzone unlike side.

[AB / Sub] - Tri-Punisher aka Ball
Fires a giant ball at the target in a straight line, stuns on hit. (doesn't have any guidance)

Ball sizes in order of smallest to biggest:

Unbuffed Sub -> Nyuukon Sub -> Unbuffed TRANS-AM Sub -> TRANS-AM Nyuukon Sub

[AC] - TRANS-AM System
Activates Transam, can only be done once per life.

Basic timings for TRANS-AM:

1) When your partner bursts, in order to combine aggression together

2) When your opponent bursts, in order to negate his burst benefits (also lasts longer than a burst so you will have some aggression time as well)
3) Early on at no particular time, in order to utilize it before opponents can counteract it with bursts

4) When you have your burst, in order to combine burst with TRANS-AM for terrifying speed and burst damage

5) After your partner dies once, to ensure he can support you consistently during TRANS-AM

6) After your enemy 3K dies once, in order to try and kill him twice before they can adjust. Great for comebacks

7) When your opposing back player has taken some damage, in order to try and push him over to get an overcost. Again, great for comebacks.

[bC] - Highspeed Dash / Spin-slash
Neutral - Dashes directly at the opponent - preserves Nyuukon buff, can cancel into melee / ranged attacks during dash.
Side - Spins while slashing horizontally towards the target in a slight arc
Vertical - Spins upwards then descends down with a falling slash

[2B~B] - Seppuku aka Suicide
First 2B strikes the suicide pose, changing your camera. Second one causes him to strike himself, creating an attack hitbox that does massive damage both to any target and you. Instantly yellows both the opponent and yourself. Note that damage dealt to yourself gives you extreme meter as though you took that much damage, but opponents do not gain any meter. If you die with suicide, meter gain from your death is gained normally for all players. The opponent takes damage before you do, so you can win matches using it if it kills them.
Self Damage: 100(normal), 150(buffed), 200(trans-am normal), 250(trans-am buffed)

Burst Type - Depends

Assault: Better if you find yourself going for half bursts, or trying to land raw melees (for both normal / trans-am alike)

Blast: Better if you find yourself full bursting, as well as if you find yourself bursting to refill your Trans-am on your OC'd life.

Strategy - Quick Q&A

Q: What kind of suit is Susanoo
A: He's a melee suit. Rather than aiming for raw melee hits, he combos into melee from his strong CSa and charged Ball attacks. He requires very specific neutral game play - he's unexpectedly bad at rushdown.

Q: Then what is he good at?
A: His Nyuukon Sub is extremely good at winning close ranged situations, and his Transam gives him an extremely strong presence for a limited time, during which his CSa becomes amazing. During Transam he's as good if not better than a top 3000 class suit.

Q: And his weak points?
A: He's bad at long range, as with most melee suits. He can attempt to hold his own in a ranged fight, but it's not very good. Because of his new cost, he has problems when being cost over. In general he's not good at fundamental landing punish-based play.

Q: I'm getting my melee's cut - what do I do?
A: Susa's melee's don't really move him much and have bad cut resistance. Make sure you confirm the situation before comboing into melees from your ranged attacks. Make sure you utilize camera switching during your combos.

Q: I keep getting landing punished and die without doing anything...
A: Make sure you're not just tunnel-vision'ing in on an opponent and overheating etc. Make sure you land quickly after putting on Nyuukon, land right after CSa'ing, etc, to reduce the amount of gaps you have.

Q: When do I activate Trans-am?
A: Generally you want to activate it as soon as you get it, before your opponents can get a Burst / adjust to the Transam. Also make sure you don't just go ham with melee during Transam. You move fast in it, but you're not invincible. Transam lasts a fairly long time, so try to do damage using easy to hit moves like Sub, CSa, 6BC etc.

Basic damage combo from Ball

5BBBB → CSa 237 (269)
Basic damage combo. Can camera switch during. Has terrible cut resistance.

6BB > 5BBBB → CSa 212 (230)
Same as above, 6B starter.

5B8B(3hit) → A > 5BB8B(allhit) 290 (320)
Big damage confirm, but no cut resistence. 275(312) if from 5BB instead of 5B.

5B8B(2hit) > Suicide 266(287)
Simple stable suicide combo. Doesn't require cancelling into A, meaning you can do it while CSa is held. Not very much cut resistance, but the combo is fairly short. the 3rd hit of 5B8B now leaves them farther out, making rainbowstep forward suicide unstable.

5B8B(3hit) → A > Suicide 324(350)
Better suicide combo using the pose cancel. Cannot be done while holding A. Rainbowstep forward after the pose.

Sub → 5BC → A > Suicide 208 (265)
Advanced suicide confirm from Ball hit. Not very good cut resistence, and hard to confirm into. Must forward step from Nyuukon, and input Nyuukon before you get too close.

Sorry for taking so long to fill things out. I've been working hard at college, but I've gotten time to update all the Extreme Gundam pages. For the Xenon and Extreme Xenon forms, I only gave a few examples of how ac can be used to improvise semi-fluid cancels into nearly anything.

Unit: Extreme Gundam Xenon-F

[AB] Beam Dagger (Throwing)
Can somersault or backflip depending on input.
Dmg: 22 (1 hit)

[AC] Data Pressure
Works similar to other Pressure moves sans superarmor. If hit, builds Evolution Gauge by 30.

Evolution Gauge

I'm going to update and correct this info when I have my hands on the actual game, since I'm having some personal trouble interpreting the jp wiki. Ultimately, I'll write this post such that melee, shooting attacks, etc. are grouped together by Evolution State. Type-Leos ranged attacks, melee, cancel routes etc. will be written first, followed by Aios Phase's, and concluded with Extreme Aios Phase's. Strategies, tactics, etc. will be written after the movesets.

Unit: Extreme Gundam Aios-F
Counter that stuns attacking opponent. Input -b after successful block to finish counter.

[CSb] GN Beam Pistol II (Volley)
Multi-lock version of <EX> CSb. Animation functions similarly to MCSb. The two shield bit clusters attack 1 target each. Reverts to MCSb when shield bits are already in use.

[AB] GN Missiles
Standard missiles. Knocks back opponent on contact.

[nAC] GN Rifle Bits (Standby)
Input nbc to have bits shield Cherudim. Input dir+bc to have bits shield ally. Bits can now be recalled to standby by inputting bc again.

[ABC] Assault on Memento Mori
Re-enacts the Seravee X Cherudim combination from 00 Gundam. Seravee's Hyper Burst deals dmg and stuns. Cherudim's sniper shot deals dmg and fires 2nd to Seravee. Cherudim gains superarmor during the attack.
