Hello fellow Crossers, Taggers, and Battlers!

This question crossed my mind a little while ago when I was introducing my friend to BBTag (his background being from FighterZ) and he asked who the high damage characters are. Made me stop and consider: How much damage is "high damage?"

In BBTag you have so many resources to play with at any given moment, and pretty much anyone can get some nasty numbers off those resources (cross combo with 2 meter stocked can feel like a death sentence), but many characters make a lot more happen. Big boys like Susan and Azrael get some disgusting damage off even basic conversions, that's a given, but where's a good place to draw the line?

The aforementioned Susan can hit 7k damage pretty easily from a 5A starter without resources, which I'd consider a great yardstick for the top end of damage. Characters like Adachi, Blitztank (in the corner), Carmine, or really any character with a strong loop can reach this threshold, and I'd definitely consider them High Damage™.

But where would I put someone like Ragna?

Ragna has good damage, but I feel like most of it is contained in his supers and cross-combo Hell's Fang loops. If you're caught with no meter in the tank and no cross gauge, you're only getting about 6.3k off of a good starter (thanks to Belial Edge scaling). 6.3k is still good in my books, but is it High Damage™? Does he become High Damage™ with resources? If so, how many resources should we consider when deciding High Damage™?

What do you all think? If you were to introduce the game to a new player who wanted to play a "high damage" character, who would you recommend for them?

(And to those wondering who my friend ended up playing, he settled on Ragna and Tank)

I don't know what the deal is, or if it's exclusive to Sony, but apparently BlazBlue games can no longer be recorded via the "standard method" PS4 uses (Share Button recording is completely blocked on both Central Fiction and Chronophantasma Extend).

This isn't something that occurs in GGXrd Rev2... or even the Steam versions of the games.

I'm not sure if it's a problem on my end or what...

Sounds like some kind of Legal Snafu with Japanese voice actors or something... (Bandai Namco does this practice too, but why only PS4?)

IMPORTANT EDIT: Apparently as I rebooted my PS4 I was able to record videos again... just... what the heck why!?

This is an interesting topic that I thought I'd bring up. I see so many people playing SSBM or Street Fighter nowadays as the only fighting games that they play. So, I was wondering why you've been dedicated to BB for so long? Is BB a side game for you or is it the only fighting game that you play and why? Its not at EVO anymore and its falling from popularity... Don't get me wrong, I really like BlazBlue... but why pick it over other fighting games?

So I was experimenting and found decrypted BlazBlue Chronophantasma and CP Extend and looked into kagura and bullet's moves and fixed them up in BBCF so their not the worst characters in the game :D

	Bullet:
I modified bullet's attacks so they link up more and has more options. Some examples are "Flechette: Engage" (623D) launches oppenent straight up like in chronophantasma, "Lock On" (5D,6D,2D) is as quick as it was in chronophantasma, and her 6A move combos with 5C again so you can pressure them out. I also sped up 6A slightly. 3C is also quicker allowing 5C > 3C to be 100% possible.

Here is her modded .pac file:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/3e8ror5mik7gn8b/char_bl_scr_(Bullet_Fixes).pac

	Kagura:

I checked to see the frames it took to pull off some of his moves and the moves that are slower have been matched with chronophantasma and the ones made faster in Central Fiction are the same. Forgot what its called, but I modified the move where you hold down and then up with C so that it sticks the player to the wall like in Chronophantasma. This open up more options to combo. Other than that, no big differences other than small adjustments everywhere.

Here is his modded .pac file:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/e16lm1m5bkk58ei/char_kg_scr_(Kagura_Fixes).pac

Welcome to the BlazBlue Questions Thread!

Here, you can ask questions about anything BlazBlue gameplay related. This topic is created just for those questions. If you have story related questions take it to Zepp Museum.

Anyone is allowed to ask a question, and anyone is allowed to answer a question. However, please read the following rules as to this thread:

You are allowed to ask as many questions as you want in a single post. However, please be smart about what you ask. We don't want to see questions that ask about how big Noel's tits are. We already have GameFAQs for that kind of shit.

If you are going to answer a question, please be courteous of the person who asked the question. Just because an answer may be obvious to you does not mean that it will be obvious to the person who asked the question. In other words, respect the person in your answer.

If you notice any information from an answer to be incorrect or an opinion that's completely skewed, you are allowed to make a post regarding your corrections or thoughts. However, the same rule applies. In the case of opinions, please keep your own to a minimum. This topic isn't meant for arguments or debates, but rather for helping the ignorant and curious.

Don't make any flammatory or pointless posts. Try your best to refrain from making redundant posts. Our forums have a "Search Thread" feature located in the bar above the first post of the page. We'll be lenient on the redundancy, since we understand very well that searching through Dustloop posts is not only an absolutely cringing hassle, but also because some of the posts here aren't what we call "quality posts." However, if you ask a question that's just been asked a few posts ago, we will give you a warning.

Breaking these rules will either result in an infraction, tempban, or permanent ban, depending on how bad the offense is, past offenses, or the mood that the mods feel. Seriously, don't fuck with us on this.

Have fun.

Just mumbling this in my head. I did wait for Chrono Phantasma Extend after CSE and I don't know if I should wait a bit even with CF to see if they'll release a CFE
What do you think about this topic?

Is a Central Fiction Extend likely in your opinion? Wouldd you hold on buying CF if CFE was announced?

	Hello guys!

I recently started playing BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, and it is my first fighting game ever, so I had some trouble learning it, but one thing that I can't solve, even after 30 hours, is using the dash.

As far as I understand, you have to input the same direction twice (either 44 or 66), and then your character performs a character-specific dash. The difficulty I'm having is that I can't consistently do that.

I'm using a 360 controller, and I use the left stick for character movement, but I can't perform a dash on it, almost at all. I can 50%-50% dash on the d-pad. My questions are:

-Should I use the d-pad for movement? (really uncomfortable)

-Should I use the d-pad especially for dashing? (having to switch is really sluggish)

As far as I'm aware, the dash should be used as a quick movement option, for dodging or engaging.

-Is there any trick to quickly and reliably perform a dash? (Using a 360 controller)

I was thinking about making a 4 input, and then "flicking" the stick to 1 and then to 4 again, but I can't get that to work, either.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Hello guys. This thread is supposed to be for people who would be kind enough to share the new demo and
those, who are unable to get it for reasons (like having preordered it somewhere physically).
Basically it´s about sharing at least the demo until the official release of the game (when the demo
becomes unavailable anyway afaik). This is primarily directed at people who only have the jp acc
for getting the game and would not mind at least temporary, since people who regularly
use the account might not want to give out those. Details should be worked out in private between a pair.
As long as everybody behaves, I believe this could be a nice community project to get more people on a better level before the release.

If this does not work with the forum guidelines (I did not find exact statements regarding this), feel free to close this out, mods.

Well, I´ll try to go first:

I have to admit am myself in such a situation, since I have promises tied to the ps3 version, so I´m looking for someone who would share.

	Greets,

	Juraya
