Just got the game. Have some questions.

I picked up Guilty Gear today and was wanting some opinions on what fighter I would like.  I've played Street Fighter, KoF, CvS2 (Man I miss this game).  I like Characters like Ken, Akuma, Terry Bogard, and Geese Howard to name a few.  

 

Which fighters in Guilty Gear Xrd have fighting styles like these?  I've seen some Sol gameplay and he seems very similar to Terry Bogard so I am leaning towards him, but I wanted the opinion of more experienced players.

In neutral gunflame is like power wave, Fafnir is like the C version of burn knuckle and bandit revolver is crack shot.

Yup, definitely Sol is the way to go for you.

 

I'd also suggest Sin, though his food subsystem may be weird in the beginning.
