Platinum 6C to Swallow Moon

Trying to teach myself how to play this game with her, I see most combos with her having 6C going into swallow moon into jC, but whenever I do 6C into swallow moon I either get jc or j 2C help?

6C will actually cancel into jump normals slightly earlier than it will allow canceling into specials. If you're doing the proper input for Swallow Moon (j.236C) and you get j.C, try to delay the input just a little more.
