This match up is so bad LOL Arakune players love to tech roll and if its not that then they back dash on wake up which gets option selected by azrael superior range on the ground with gustaf and 5C. Arakune needs the reversal mind game with 50 meter and good defense if they want a chance against 4k combos. The only ground over head they have is actually really predictable and if you always know to watch for it then you cut away arakune's damage potential by alot...

if you're belted on though ur in a death situation so many things can happen to you so you have to either hit arakune to stop the insects (asap btw) or you can g.field some of it. you usually only have 35% shot at getting the hit and canceling the belt insects.

70/30 Az favor imo. Arakune is not really good in this game. He does have a good anti air though so I wouldn't be too desperate in approaching from the air
