Aftermath1349 Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 I would love a proper re-release with netplay. I honestly find it odd that ASW haven't done this already as a way to make a bit of extra cash for their other projects (or even pockets). Unlike BB, GG has a recognizable name. That is a bigger selling point to "casual" gamers than ASW seems to understand. Take MvC2 for example. The re-release of that didn't do as well as it did because of a massive hardcore fanbase. It was because the average gamer could look at the name, recognize it and feel comfertable in buying it because it wasn't something they'd never heard of like Garou. Ah whatever, enough talking. GIVE US GG PLEASE!
MouseWonder Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Why wouldn't you support a new Guilty Gear? That's crazy talk, I want this something fierce. Its the perfect time with the wave of fighting games being released (though people need to be careful... over saturation KILLS genres...)

Well ASW better hurry then because Capcom is doing everything in it's power to kill this genre. MvC3, 3s:OE, SFXTekken and vice versa... Oh and Super Street Fighter IV Turbo or whatever they call the updated version (yes I know Super is the last IV game. It's also getting new characters and balance changes so it may as well be the Third Strike of IV. God, those words in the same sentence hurt my brain...)
femoral Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Has anyone started a petitononline petition yet? in the APA interview they said that would bring it to PSN?XBLA APA: Are there any plans to release Guilty Gear: Accent Core Plus on Xbox Box Live Arcade and PlayStation Network with online play? Ishiwatari: It's something we would like to do. If the fans' voices are loud enough, we'll do it.
FoxyAreku Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I don't care much either way. I have no idea why but GG was never that fun to me..
Ronin Jinobi Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 I don't care much either way. I have no idea why but GG was never that fun to me.. if you don't then don't post in a "save the guilty." thread? *shrug*
FoxyAreku Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 It's a public forum, so why not? Not saying I wouldn't support this if given the chance, if it makes people happy there's no reason for me not to. Just saying I probably wouldn't buy it myself unless a friend made me or something (though knowing my friends, that would probably be the case.. XP)
Sesshyru Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 It's a public forum, so why not? Because everything you have said is useless.

Hecatom Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 I don't care much either way. I have no idea why but GG was never that fun to me.. because you are playing it wrong
FoxyAreku Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Because everything you have said is useless. Like 90% of this thread then. And your post. Funny how one comment that wasn't even negative can get people so bent out of shape. My post was no more useless then all of you who are orgasming at the thought of this game on 360. Though honestly, wouldn't a useless post not be getting so many replies? because you are playing it wrong I don't think playing it a different way would make it any more fun. It's simply not to me, and the art style is kinda bland. But as I've stated, if people enjoy it and want it so badly, I'd support this anyway.
Asakura Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 I'd rather see an GGX3 to be totally honest. Or some new, worthy successor to Accent Core. If the best we can get is Accent Core then I'd love to see it on the 360 because I haven't played a GG since GGXX on the PS2 back when I didn't have a stick.
Sesshyru Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwsWskgKe5E#t=05m44s This post is so much win. +1 Hell yah CUT THAT BITCH OFF

Squared Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 The real question is; why haven't aksys and arc re-released ggxxac on newer consoles already? All they would need to do is use the ps2 version to reformat to work on newer consoles or add it to the many game networks(guilty gear X2 is on XBL network so why cant they do that with ggxxac*with online play of course*?), it would take a little ingenuity and computer know-how but that's what aksys and arc are for. Aksys and arc must be thinking up something(or should) because what would be the point of letting one of their most profitable game communities die down?
Sesshyru Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Did you ever see that one youtube when they was in conference and this one fat Asian was askin them why they don't love GG anymore? They got no faith in the play base (amount) compared to BB. They don't believe we exist... ._.
Squared Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I think its time we boycott BB until they release (or re-release) a new GG (I know...it isn't a very practical solution)
Hecatom Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 from what we "know" they are already working on a new GG but SHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh!

They'd have to be able to both make it cheaply/efficiently and sell it cheaply otherwise it could piss off the market with a simple port including online. Granted most people here (myself included) would be happy... But you have to think of all the people who would scream laziness..
unsanctifier Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 They'd have to be able to both make it cheaply/efficiently and sell it cheaply otherwise it could piss off the market with a simple port including online. Granted most people here (myself included) would be happy... But you have to think of all the people who would scream laziness.. well what they should do then is release a port of GGAC on XBL/PSN as a promotion for the upcoming GG (shhh), people can buy it for cheap, play it, and start to like it, definitely giving them more fans for the new GG (shhh) they don't have much to lose in that situation...
Antihippy Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Wouldn't sega/sammy be the ones to decide if they'll port it to XBLA and PSN?
krknight Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 http://www.destructoid.com/more-guilty-gear-coming-to-ps3-360-not-dead-yet-159099.phtml
Arvoyea Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Wouldn't sega/sammy be the ones to decide if they'll port it to XBLA and PSN? No. Sega/Sammy never had that much control over GG, they only published the games, the rumors of them getting ownership of GG's copyrights are false. So, only Arc System Works will decide on that. And Daisuke already said he would do it, he just needs to hear the fans asking for it.
