Damn Animéfia, back at it again with the second season!!

We're proud to announce our second season to everyone, this time with a twist! Oficially now a "Road to CEOTaku" event!

Starting on February 29th, The Hiero Group and The Animéfia are hosting “Waifu Wars: Season Two”; An eight week league wanting to expand the anime scene in both the DMV and the surrounding areas! We want people to come out and both get better as a player, but also get stronger as a community! This is a free entry tournament, so no need to worry about the cost! There will be prize payouts to top 3, all great prizes!

- It is a bring your own controller event, though we will have sticks but they take a back seat to the THG event. We are also not liable for in the event that a provided controller or stick malfunctions "Use at your own digression"

- Point System

1st - 8 points 
2nd - 6 points
3rd - 5 points
4th - 4 points 
5th & 6th - 3 points
7th & 8th - 2 points

- Top three placers have the opportunity to be seeded the next week in the order that they placed "starting from 1st to 3rd"

- In the event that a "Tie" takes place at the end of the season, The ties will be broken with a first to 5 exhibition between the two respective players

- Remember this is a learning experience. The tournament is free to help encourage everyone to play and get better in their said game. No Pressure. No Hassle.

- Coaching is allowed and it is encouraged, Let's help each other to raise the level of play in the DMV
Official game rulings for Blazblue: Chronophantasma Extend 

- The Tournament will be ran in a two out of Three format

- Winners Finals, Losers Finals, and Grand Finals will be three out of five

- Matches will consist of two rounds both set with 99 seconds on the clock

- Blind pick will be available

- To initiate a blind pick notify the TO

- In the event the game is paused during the match it is up to the TO's 
digression how the event will be handled "This also covers controller malfunctions"

- In other words awarding a round, Starting the match over or continuing the match

- 5 min warnings will be in affect. The venue is only so big and you shouldn't wander to far. We are expecting many participants and we can't spend 30 mins looking for a player, We have time restraints

- As far as the prizes are concerned, they will be awarded at the end of the 8 week period to the 1st - 3rd placers with the highest point values (THIS MIGHT CHANGE IN THE UPCOMING WEEKS, BUT 1ST-3RD ARE GUARANTEED PRIZES)

- Points will be organized and kept in a grid format through google that will be view able each week the day after the event takes place

- Everything will be done to maintain the order and integrity of the event, I have full right to change a rule or regulation at my will

- Any ruling that myself or other designated TO may pass judgement upon is final there will be no arguments

- Refusing to follow the rule set and or judgement of a TO may result in the immediate disqualification of the tournament and in worse cases ejection from the event 

- Waifu Cup Rulings and details will be posted later

- To claim a prize at the end of the season the participant must be present on the final day of the series

- If said player is not present the prize will be awarded to the next person in line underneath of the qualifier
