went to kawaii kon yesterday, i think i really found everybody that plays gg on this island. well at least the ones that know there characters bnb's. oya and bbcs seems way better this time around and it seems a little bit more hardcore now

Well I think ther were 4 or 5 scrubs there who knew little 5 hit combos, it seem like no one would play against me when I used anji or venom so I had to pick random chars and still one most of the time.. i picked testament and just put out random nets and trees the I would 5s 214p them and then set them up again. Some of them used ky, sol and I think jam, slayer, baiken, bridget. Na th gg tournament didn't happen cuz there wasn't enough people and it was too early and I got there a little late. Bears didn't make it but josh a good johnny and zappa player and his friend was there who was ok and used ky. And josh was good at grabbing you durin his blockstrings and resetting combos, but he just didn't know how to stop my 5p and 6k anti airs or my random hs fujins threw his coins. If josh practiced more he would be a beast and so would the ky player

Sounds like the RANDOM GG casuals at Kawaii Kon were FREE, lol.

If Bears and I were there as well, it probably would've been overkill.

Anji's 5p > everything. Whenever I try to get in from the air, I always end up eating that. Couldn't go to kawaiikon because my bank locked my card and my family was having a party at Haleiwa. Also the surf was up on that side.

Hell ya marvel looks like it will a cool ass game can't wait to play as Deadpool, anybody who uses guns and blades are cool as hell wit me. It looks like they might be making them look like 3d comic book chars except on a 2d plain. But I was also kind of hype for mvc2 and I ended up only playin it like 4 times

Ya and I am into anime I don't think I am really hardcore wit it. But I do follow some like some mechas, or gunslingers or samurai and a lot of times I just stay to the mainstream ones

i like most mechas as long as it has action throughout and when i went to kawaii kon i got put on to guren lagann and ya i really havent been watchin many animes lately cuz my cpu is messed up. but gundams usually are at the top of the list followed by random samurai shows (samurai shamploo even shows like afro samurai) then more mechas like macross

There's no BB cabinet in Hawaii is there :<, when i used to live there, I used to play the crap out of Soul Calibur 2 at Fun Factory... there was also a melty blood machine at a small arcade near the Ala Moana mall i used to play.. miss those days 3:

There's a BBCT cabinet at HBB (Hawaiian Brian's Billiards).

Dunno if people still go down there to play it though since there is barely a BB scene here, lol.

I haven't seen the sun and sky for about a week now, lol.

On the east side, that's normal weather because the volcano is on that side and it's rains somewhat often because of the vog and overcast conditions.

The west side where I'm at is usually clear sky with some sporadic cloud activity.

Vog comes over here with wind assist and makes an overcast sky look even darker with the haze in the air.

Weather conditions here are somewhat wack at times. It can be a really nice clear sky with sun and some cloud activity, then change to 'Silent Hill'-esque weather depending on where you are at on the island, particularly the east (Hilo) and northern (Waimea/Hamakua) areas of the island.

I've RANDOMLY played some SSF4 with a friend that picked up the game.

Currently using: Makoto

Randomly using: C. Viper, Sakura, Juri, E. Honda.

HBB only has a CT cab and even then barely anyone goes down there to play the game.

I didn't sleep for 2 days this past weekend.

Highlights:

- Played through RE5 in co-op mode from start to finish.

- Played a session of SSF4 after already being awake for 24 hrs following the completion of RE5.

Thoughts:

RE5

- More or less RE4 on a larger scale, with an option for co-op play.

- Gears of War + RE4 = RE5 aka 'Gears of Evil'.

SSF4

- Makoto...

- Shit is still wack, lol.

I don't have much hype for the console version of CS. I'll probably give the game a try though, whatever.

As you can see, this thread is kinda RANDOM in activity. Currently, only about 3-4 people from the 808 actually post up in here to 'talk story'. If you are looking for BB casual matches, maybe the other guys might be interested cause they dabble a bit in BB, but they are more inclined toward playing GG though, lol.

I tried MB:AA on my PC. That was pretty fun, but didn't really know what I was doing.

I'm pretty interested in GG, especially in playing Dizzy, but I'm not sure if I want to delve into another fighting game (especially one with hard execution D: )
