Welcome to the thread. @Kurokun: LOL to that....but it'll be rather entertaining to see if people RAGE about her if she's delayed like Valk...the people complaining about: "WTF WHERE IS VALK" was kind of amusing... News about BB SADLIFE stuffs and the discussions about them, are always entertaining, to me at least, lol. 'JAPAN ONRY' delay was funny though. at sbo pachi held up a sign saying what blazblue is all about. the sign read: 1. combo practice 2. bang & litchi ROFL

My friends from CA are moving back, and one of them plays BB (needs to learn how to play a better Tager...) but when he comes back, Solar and I can make casuals for sure. For now....yeah, it's kinda hard relying on bus.

Kurokun Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 My thoughts on some stuff from TGS 2010: Asura's Wrath GIANT SPACE BUDDHA SHINING FINGER... QTE? Japanese 'God of War' looks interesting though. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow I haven't played a CV game since SotN and the only 3D CV I've played was LoI. I would probably want to try it out though. Catherine The preview for this game is quite... interesting. Atlus, where's my new 'Persona' announcement? lol Front Mission Evolved Hmmm... This game has an 'Armored Core' feel to it and I don't know what to make of it. I am interested in the SRPG FM games though (played through 4 and somewhat playing through 3). Could be an interesting take on the gameplay which seems to be more action oriented now, but will probably boil down to gunfights and missile barrages, lol. Disgaea 4 Played the 1st game and skipped out on the 2nd and 3rd games. My interest in this series has dropped off quite a bit, but power leveling and transmigration stuffs was fun, lol. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Wild animal harassment continues, lol. I still want a PS3 MH though. Project Dark (working title) I should probably get around to playing Demon's Souls... Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes I played the demo and I liked it, quite reminiscent of DW/SW/WO stuffs. Shadows of the Damned The Mikami/Suda 51/Yamaoka 'project' looks pretty hype. 'Survival Horror' makes a comeback? The 3rd Birthday I'm not too sure about this 'Overdive' gameplay mechanic, which seems to be somewhat similar to what was featured in 'Killer 7'. It makes me wonder if Aya's PE abilities still play a role in what seems to be an action intensive game with emphasis on this 'Overdive' (switching) mechanic and '3rd person shooter' stuffs. Yakuza: Of the End A 'Yakuza' game... with zombies? HYPE DmC WTF IS THIS SHIT?

Bastard child of CoD and Armored Core sums up the most recent offering in the franchise quite well. Time to find a copy of the fifth game so I can see why the hell they decided to depart from the genre.

I have less hype for FM:E after watching some gameplay vids, but I'd probably give it a try though... someday, lol. As for the change in gameplay stuffs? Square Enix had Double Helix Games work on FM:E. DHG also worked on Silent Hill: Homecoming. IIRC, that entry in the SH franchise had a lukewarm reception due to various issues ranging from gameplay stuffs ('knife was too strong?' and 'save points were lacking?') and story related stuffs ('Pyramid Head stuff' and I think 'main character background stuffs'). Yeah... Compared to the whole 'DmC fiasco', this doesn't seem that bad, lol.
