I'm from toledo ohio (bout 15-20 mins from michigan) and I would love to find some local (or close) competition. I'd like to find some people to play some BB, GG, or just about anything else really. Don't have a fighting scene at all where I am all of my fighter experience is based online.

On another note I can get a car,I checked the distance to port huron from my place (since its the only place I saw posted) and its about a 2 hour drive. I would have no problem pickin people up on the way but that's only if people are interested I suppose.

When I get a car, I'd be more than happy to help with rides and such if anyone needed to go south to get to places. I'll always enjoy a good fight, even if I have to travel 4 hours to get there. Can always stop by here if you want to play and if we head up to port huron or perhaps flint as onslaught suggested we can just ride in the same car.
Skye Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 You got a car too, right Troy? lol no pressure, but if that's possible, it would be great for BO's pick up, since going from Detroit, to Flint, to Port Huron, is a really huge detour, unless the road goes that way normally, it would be great to have two pick ups, one for Detroiters (Axis and I), and another for Flint (BO).

So long as I'm reading it right the plan would seem to be 75 up to detroit than find a way onto 94 (port Huron) or get back on 75 to Flint. Flint and PH are across from each other on 69 but idk how long of a trip that would be. Commander if you near the mud hens stadium you aren't far at all, I moved off of airport but I'm right next to the central ramp now so its all good. We might have to set some matches up sometime.

And it would be easier, since the destination is Port Huron, one person picks up from Detroit, heads straight to PoHu, and the other pick up from Flint and again goes straight to PoHu, it will save trouble of going from the huge detour of Detroit, to Flint, to PoHu. Really don't wanna get left out...

Yes sir i live right across from it and the hockey arena, im about a minute off 75 if that would be happy to set up some matches. We can try ti figure something Skye or find a place centrally located to eliminate the problem in the first place not sure where though.

Grendy - you seem the most likely to actually do this/pick people up! We should totally set a date on this beezy. As for the road - PoHo sits on both 69 and 94. Me and Grendy can ride up there together and probably grab axis and skye from detroit if we are still holding everything in port huron.
Grendy Posted June 11, 2010 Posted June 11, 2010 Setting a date would be helpful as well, I work 5-6 days a week, usually have Saturday and tuesdays off. If I know enough in advance I'm sure I can get someone to switch days with me so I can do it on other days. I dunno if any of you guys are working or going to school so let's get some days floating around so we can see what we can work in. A lot of people want saturdays oof and since I'm broke I usually pick um iup for the extra money, again though as long as I know in advance I can avoid picking up shifts. I'm definetly up for making this trip and picking people up, all my fighter experience is strictly online and I would love to get some matches without having to worry bout a freak lagspike or the such.
