Skye Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Wait, what? Did I miss something? What are you two (three) hiding from your brethren?
Xill Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I know man texted your brother earlier today but he never answered to see if it was still at 2 and how you guys were doing. Dude, My phone was broken. We only had my brothers. We drove up to Digital Ops. Friend of mine brought BB:CS up and we play'd it for 8 hours. Yeah. Ragna's pretty good.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 imo, he's auto-pilot. 5B and let your gut take you to the corner to BE loop.
Xill Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 imo, he's auto-pilot. 5B and let your gut take you to the corner to BE loop. Ibing still gives him a lot of trouble though, and since he's still the same on the ground outside of combo (Blockstrings and such), there are going to be a lot of people going "Oh, i've seen this before." Auto Pilot will be his downfall.
Leonil_Requiem Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 In addition, ragna still has to go air too ground with his pressure to deal with barriering opponents. Opponents with anti-airs and good barrier management still make him look silly. But the BE loop isn't all that specific. Infact, it's his most landed BnB. But everyone has combos that end in side switches anyway, or maybe it's just me being hakumen >,> regardless, the point is, the game fills great, touched my nipples on sight.
Skye Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Auto Pilot will be his downfall. That's why he's S tier.
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well requiem do you think its legit we could hold ranbats at digital ops that is about as close to the middle as detroit is.
Leonil_Requiem Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well requiem do you think its legit we could hold ranbats at digital ops that is about as close to the middle as detroit is. hmmmm.... after critiquing the location data, it relatively even enough for no one to play the blame game on travel time. but yea, time for this 12 hour drive
Skye Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Ann Arbor huh. Hey could we meet up there this weekend?
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I probably could meet people up there although i have no idea on the situation of cs or how they do group gatherings for any particular game there. I believe they were actually have ssf4 ranbats up there when requiem went so you know they at least do that kind of thing.
Skye Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 We need to talk to them, preferably in person. This way we can get our season started.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I'm down for this. Hoping one of us actually imported BBCS.
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well if we dont think we could make it up there this weekend, i could see about giving them a call to discuss some details with them.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Awesome been too long since we met up and you astral'd me.
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well whoever has input on how we want to run the ranbats, put it here so we can compile the information and can present it either in person or over the phone if needed. I personally believe we should do it bi-weekly so twice a month or simply once a month and how many people could we estimate coming if done either way? I may see if we can get some people from ohio as well to join us if we end up at digital ops. Do we want to try and run any other games besides CS at these ranbats? These are all things we should figure out so lets start organizing things and hammer the details out.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well that depends on the people involved in the season. If we say SF we'll have a big turnout, but since SF will have the biggest turnout it'll be everything else on the side, if that makes sense. I say to keep it GGXXAC+ and CS. And maybe another weird 2D game depending on someone's mood.
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I would say the same because i dont know how many digital ops can hold and or if they would be willing to do it. Im not a guilty gear player nor do i know how many are around here in michigan or ohio but we could always try and see if we could get a turn out for it.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well it's a dying generation, but it's there for hype. Also I checked with the rec center I was looking at, the rooms are a bit big, but we're looking at about 12-18 guys in a room. Also right next to us would either be the Pokemon Club and the Computer lab, so real talk this might not work..
A.X.I.S. Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 lol @ pokemon. I'm down for this...now to whore myself out for cash to do this. hell even if I can't do ranbats I'll still hit you guys up for casuals.
Black Onslaught Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Casuals are always when hilarity comes out.
Commanderoftroy Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 Well i say we try the ann arbor place first because is centrally located for all of us and then should have skye put together exactly what we will do for these ranbats and how we will handle the money and points since he had a lot of knowledge about it. Then i can either drive up there this weekend or give them a call and see what if we cant get this scene going.
Koopa_Klawz Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 CS biweeklies sounds good. if i can get some money and more driving exp i should be able to come.
Xill Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 Why don't you guys just come to the ranbats? People are going to be playing CS when it comes out and it will get add'd to the ranbats like it used to be.
