Yukianesa Drive Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 So, from what I gather, the members of this site carry around arcade sticks, and play at arcades? Where the hell does this happen? I'm in Ohio, so, maybe it's just because this state is long dead, but arcades don't even exist here anymore. I mean, as far as I know, there isn't an arcade in ALL of Ohio, not to mention that Continuum Shift wouldn't be there anyway. I'm just jealous of you all, I'm sorry.
Yukianesa Drive Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 by the way, i play BB on 360, and when continuum shift comes out on PS3, I'll get it for that. I have to use a D-pad though, and although I couldn't find an arcade if I tried, I'm starting to fall in love with the idea of having an arcade stick, and actually going places outside of my room, lol.
4r5 Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 people who have arcades and go to them are a small minority i would imagine people who have arcades and go to them, with their arcade sticks, are an even smaller minority
Yukianesa Drive Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 kk, gotcha, I was confused, as there are MULTIPLE stickies referring to arcade sticks, lol. Thanks.
Yukianesa Drive Posted April 11, 2010 Author Posted April 11, 2010 people who have arcades and go to them are a small minority i would imagine people who have arcades and go to them, with their arcade sticks, are an even smaller minority Hey 4r5, just watched the vid in ur sig, you're fuckin' amazing... I couldn't play GG, as I can't get any moves down with anyone except Ky, and even at that, I could'nt manage to chain my shit like that, damn. Amazing.
Circuitous Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 Here's the Ohio thread. Don't know of any Ohio arcades except Arcade Legends in Fairfield, so that's a bit out of your reach. You can probably find some players in Akron or Cleveland but I couldn't tell you whether there are any proper scenes there or not. But you could always ask.
Kamui Moon Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 i would imagine people who have arcades and go to them, with their arcade sticks, are an even smaller minority that's like 100% of ohio though. we do have an arcade, but we mainly play shit on console. anyways, can you drive, Yukisomething? there isn't really anyone in your area. and really the only place to find any bb is down south at arcade legends. bb is pretty dead in ohio. did we not plug arcade legends enough? i love that fucking arcade.
Kamui Moon Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 do you know how hard it is to get an accent core cab? or how expensive a bb one is? even if we did have one, how long would it take to run a tournament on a single station? what about the unlucky pad players? it's still an arcade, and an awesome one at that because everything that it does have is on free play.
Circuitous Posted April 11, 2010 Posted April 11, 2010 It's only a four-hour drive, at the very least you could come down for PowerUp.
