I can't bring a TV though. (I've never been to eStarland before, but it's pretty close to me) Barring that, is there anyone in this thread who's still into BB? Awhile ago VR-Raiden and gadgetfinger and I met up at CyberGround in Fairfax and played. Would anyone be interested in doing that again? I may have Blazblue there this weekend.

Hello all, I actually own the place, it may be far from you, but we're not too expensive, $6.99 for half hour, $8.99 for an hour and you can switch games for free as many times as you want within your time, we pause your time and wait for you to start actually playing the game before we restart your timer. So you can get a bit of gaming in. You CAN bring your own paddles and games, we'll only need to look at the game you're bringing in to make sure it's a game and not an adult movie or something crazy. We've done tournaments in our back room with all TVs and systems going (8) as well as others on the front side and we didn't have any problems with lag, and we've done streaming BUT I won't lie to you guys we had an issue ONE time with lag but it was quickly corrected. KBnova Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Xrd is watered down guilty and is going to be scrub friendly. No frc's and slowed down RC so you can have 10 seconds to decide what you want to do. anything > RC > (umvc3 otg time length) > combo. Sounds like a good time to me.

Yeah, hoping Anji or Zappa makes it back but i don't mind learning new characters. I actually like the new High risk High reward system with with the clash levels but the RC thing is hrmmm. I don't like the idea of slowing time since the fun of RC'ing is ability to make creative mixups instantly and not having the opponent being able to read any of them easily and the neutral game as you said. Also I'll be training up with Anthony (Destin) and the NYC gang when this game comes out and might make a pit stop to MD at some point after to chill with you guys and play also. How is 'Special K Harrison' doing?
Koozebanian Fazoob Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 RCing doesn't slow down the person doing them, so you can still use them offensively to create mixups. They only slow down everything else, which means they will probably actually be even better for offensive purposes.

Good times. Would be interesting to see if RC'ing will slow down on blocked attacks, for possible unblockables for certain characters with either meaty high or low moves.
