If i go there it's to fuckin' win this shit! right now there's only 3 people in NA who makes me afraid and it's LK, SKD, and Spark... i'm pretty confident in my will to win against anyone. although there's some match up i'm not good with :S

I'll help run it if this actually happens (but I prob won't join, I'll leave that to people who actually want to go). kousaka Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 we're still working out the details with russell, and xie~ but unofficially the feb 4th smash up tourney will be a blueRevo prelim tourney for points that will seed you at the socal blue revo tourney~ we're going to follow the format of the blueRevo tourney so you know now.. pads are banned only sticks, character lock (whatever you earn the seeding points with your stuck), 3v3 teams no repeat characters, double elim~ this prelim is not earning you a free trip to the socal tourney as it won't be enough, and you don't have to win it to go, nor do you have to go if you win.. but we'll do whatever we can to support the people going~

Brice Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 IMPORTANT POST concerning the feb 4th tournament: some of us coming to TO are pad warriors. and if the tournament becomes a qualifier for BBR (which i would like to attend) our pad warriors won't be able to play at the tournament... in the event of a qualifier taking place in the smash up tournament, is it possible to do something/run singles or something?

I know this disappoints some people, and I can understand your disappointment cause I personally don't want to play BB at all (I could just play Marvel during the tourney I guess), but it's not possible to run all 3 tournies in one day, so we'll just leave it at BB Singles + Teams. This attracts more BB players in the first place, and I don't have to bring CRTs to the venue, so it's a win-win situation I guess. Edited January 17, 2012 by Leo7
