I'm really hoping to find out more about this event. If anyone could help with more details that would be great. To quote:

This will be a Single Elimination Tournament. Players will draw tokens, and be paired up to face off against each other in a one-on-one battle based on the numbers on their tokens. The winner will progress up the Tournament ladder, and the loser will drop out. When there are only two players left the Tournament will enter Finals, where game settings will change. The winner of the Finals wins the Tournament.

Game Settings:

• The time will be set to 99 seconds.

• The Matches will be set to best 2 out of 3 Rounds.

• The Stage will be set to Random.

• The Finals will be best 2 out of 3 matches.

I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to use Sticks, you have to use the controllers provided by the NDK staff. And additionally, there's no real payout, just a couple of prizes of some sort.

However, depending on how familiar you are with the community...a few of us (namely Timotee, Dan/Z, 4Corners, Ryuudo, and myself) are planning to do something like our own mini game room of some sort or something (not too sure on all the details, i wasn't with them when they set up last year :/) in place of the game room.

Also, it's free to get into the game room at NDK, if you're wondering about cost.
