SSF4 - 12:00p

T6:BR - 12:30p

BB:CS - 4:00p

Wait- SSFIV's supposed to be over in HALF AN HOUR? And Tekken 6 is supposed to last 3 AND A HALF? What's next? Being told BBCS takes place after them all because the best was saved for last?

What is up my friends.

I will be running brackets - the tournaments will be running at the same time for the most part. I got skills.

Just like last KiT? Awesome! Thanks Vandy.

BB:CS people are bailing out now! Why!?!?!?!

Because for some reason everyone seems to have the mentality of "no one's going to show up, so I'm not going to, either." If half the people who thought that way just showed up anyway we'd have a good turnout. :/

Exactly right, Chandler. Are you still going to go? I know the forecast calls for about an inch of snow, and I didn't know if you were still on board. Grimstar, Naimat, and I were all going to ride in Grimstar's car, but Naimat bailed. I think it's still worth a shot if me, you, and Grim go, only because we don't know how many Tekken/SSF4 players might give it a go. Last year's KiT saw about 15 people for BB IIRC.

Also, it's kind of lame that we all fought for BBCS to be included, then a lot of us all bailed out last-minute.

Damn it, how do all these weather announcements pass me by until the last minute? >_> Yeah, I still plan on going though, even if I have to leave Friday afternoon to convince my parents.

And I agree it's stupid how many people pushed for BBCS at KIT if they didn't think they'd be able to/had any intentions to go. Like you said, I think there will be plenty of people there who play CS on the side, and there may be a few lurkers or people who hear about it at the last minute and decide to show. I'm expecting the turnout to be decent. :]

I won't be able to make it this year. College work + 2 hour drive + predicted snow/ice Saturday + unpredicted turnout for BBCS = not going.

I'll definitely make it to the NEXT KiT though, especially if it's closer.

EDIT

Wow, forgot the word "next" up there...

Screw you guys, I'm going to go win Kumite and talk to Namco Bandai reps and get them to confirm Tales of Vesperia PS3 for me and get a beta copy of Tales of Graces F and get sponsored by Arcsys and get BBCS2 early. It's going to be amazing and you're ALL going to miss it.

Really, though, sorry to hear so many of you all can't make it. I'll do my best to represent Middle Tennessee well in your stead. Feel free to laugh if I win. :3

Jackie - there wont be namco reps present. They are just sending prize packages to t6 tournament placers.

The closest snow forecast is 30 miles from knoxville and shouldnt interfere with anyones travel plans...

And nobody contacted Arc for similar prize packages WHY? :[

They're all being run simultaneously, Chandler.

Schedule:

SSF4 - 12:00p

T6:BR - 12:30p

BB:CS - 4:00p

Then WTF is this shit? God damn it, did I miss the deadline?

Are you sure Vandy didn't mean that if SF and T6 aren't done by four, that Blazblue would still start at 4 and the tournaments would be going on at the same time? I thought that was what he meant.

There aren't enough curse words in the English language. I can't get a hold of the venue to see if BBCS is already running. I don't want to head all the way up there if it's already too late for me to participate, but I don't want to not show up because I got so confused, then find out it DID start at 4. And I've got to make a decision within the next half hour to make it there in time. Fuck.

Chandler, at last year's KiT, all three tournaments were run at the same time with all having the 12:00 deadline. I figured that was what Vandy was referencing.

Crap, I didn't know that was the case. I didn't go to/hear about last year's KiT. I'm so confused.

Well, I think I'm going to give it a shot anyway. I already told a friend I'd meet him after the tourney in Knoxville and hang out, so I guess I'll just chill at his place if the tournament thing doesn't work out. I just wish someone at the fucking venue would answer the phone so I wouldn't have to drive in suspense for two hours to find out. >:/

Oh, Impact Clash is going to be streaming, right? If they start within the next half hour I can just ask them on the stream and still be able to make it in time. *Crosses fingers*

Aaaaaaaaall right. For those who were wondering, here's how it worked from my understanding.

Sign-ups DID end at twelve, but there weren't enough people to start a tournament even if I had showed up. There would have been four or five people there who were interested. The tournament WOULD have started at four if there were enough people. Correct me if I'm wrong about that, jio/Vandy.

Anyway, the turnout for T6/SSFIV seemed decent. I actually ran into a few guys I knew from high school, and we chatted a bit about MvC3 and meeting up to play some games locally. I only stayed at the venue for about half an hour before I headed over to a friend's place, but I had a good time while I was there. Would have been nice to get some BB in, though. :P
