The way it works in Stateside cons is that they announce the panels way before the con starts, so that when the actual day comes, everyone who goes to the panel room for "An Intro to Steampunk My Little Pony" will be the ones who actually DO want to go there. To that end, is it possible for the con to sort of announce it beforehand, so that people are not surprised that dudes are going to the stage and suddenly talking about fighting games? It's only fair for both parties.
