yeh we do locals here and there 

Fridays nights are usual meetups on Rumpus room in Quezon City at Cubao Expo

a couple of tourneys and sometimes casuals occur at Imperium bar at Ortigas, Pasig City

 

sometimes on saturdays we play here at my house in at BF Homes Parañaque or at lardbucket which is just a couple of blocks from my house lol

 

there also a new-ish console rental shop here near my area which some people already played in 

 

People usually more active now on facebook group

Curious, What games do you play?

I play Persona, Smash, and Guilty Gear, and wanna get into DFC or UNIEL. I know Imperium and Rumpus, they're 17 and 30 mins from the hotel I'm staying at(not counting the god awful traffic). 

 

Some questions:

• Do people still bring their own stick?
• Do people pay the console rent + entry fee for tournaments?
• Is commentary in English or Tagalog?
• Can you ask game stores(specifically datablitz) to import from Japan(I know mine had Japanese Xrd in it)

Yeah, but you can usually borrow someone else's if you didn't bring one.

Yeah, console rent is split among everyone who comes, and tourneys generally have fees for the pot.

• Is commentary in English or Tagalog?

Commentary is usually a mix of English and Filipino, mostly English due to terminology.

• Can you ask game stores(specifically datablitz) to import from Japan(I know mine had Japanese Xrd in it)

Well I don't think you can request them to order a particular game for you, but they do have a number of Japanese titles in stock.
