Official Connecticut Player Finder Thread!

I'm disappointed that the only CT threads I can find are from HoG almost a month ago. CT, you need to step it up. This post will be for CT players looking for games.

Shout outs from Connecticut! I have a small crew that plays Blazblue, Street Fighter, and Umvc3. we play whatever and try to have fun and some of us are willing to travel to meet new people. imma start going to HoG to meet people over there. Im from Bridgeport. and so is most of my crew.

It says New England but it's mostly just CT in there now/more often than not.

Hey, how is everyone doing. Deku here. I love playing fighting games with people, and would love to meet some people who are down with playing in the state if Connecticut. I play Street Fighter (2, 3 and 4), Tekken (6, Tag Tournament 2), Soul Caliber 5, and Guilty Gear and Blazlue CS:EX! If you are down for meeting some new competition, let me know. There are still a few people I talk to that plays fighters in ct. When I lived there a few years bk it was GG state along with SF. U will be hard to find people that play anime fighters but check shoryuken forums and there will at least be sf4 and umvc3 players...there are still people that play the anime fighters around but they don't post alot

It is not as hard as you are led to believe. If it is anime that you seek, most of the people that post in the New England thread (http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?14030-Bears-Warbling-Outside-My-Igloo-A-Polarizing-Dilemma-The-New-England-Thread/page135), which is mostly CT despite the name, will play GG, Blazblue, KoF, or really anything that's not SFIV or UMVC3. There are casuals hosted by Why-Disciple in Wolcott every two weeks that are always announced in advance, which typically cater to this crowd. However, there are oftentimes casuals in Windsor or elsewhere which the players of anime gather. If it is SFIV or Marvel that you seek, there are casuals in Windsor, but also GamingETC in Stratford on Wednesdays and Sundays, Vortex Gaming in Waterbury on Tuesdays, and occasionally The Grid in Manchester on random dates. Also, if you take a look at the SRK thread for CT (http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/ct-thread-kof-ae-umvc3-nov-17th-gaming-etc.138798/page-196) you will find your dedicated AE/UMVC3/KoF heads, but also a smattering of people wishing to learn anime fighters as well.
