AlphaDoom Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I definitely feel like this is mu's favor. I could go on with why she's in favor but I won't until I can figure out how to win the matchup, but at the moment i have nothing, if someone could give me some advice I would appreciate it.
YukiBlue Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 (edited) I would say it's definitely in Mu's favour, Too. 5.5 to Mu, But That'll change overtime. Mu can't get too reckless with her steins or 236A in this matchup, However. I think Relius' needs to use Lanto a lot here because Mu has incredible normals that hit like a freight train. Keeping your distance and waiting to land a hit or keep Mu in pressure sounds like the best strategy ATM. I've not played it that much. A lot of Mu's wakeup 214D's can be countered by Led Ley, But any MU player worth their salt will simply charge the explosion, Counter hit you, and kill you, Use it sparingly. Regarding Mu's damage, I suggest staying grounded, using safe pressure and taking a somewhat passive aggressive approach, Getting Counter Hit by Mu is devastating, so throwing shit out hoping to land a hit is going to get your ass handed to you. Her main AA got nerfed, I don't know if j.C beats it or whatever, but i'll throw it in anyway. Her 6C will pretty much win the round for her if its a FC. Wait until she does a 6B or j.2C then burst, Just do it. Her 5C and j.C are still dominant in the neutral game, they will beat pretty much all of Relius' normals, use Ignis a lot here. Using a CA is somewhat a bit idea as Mu takes primers like Blue candy nigguh. ^ This is what Mu can do, Written on an iPad. I'll edit it later, Just thought I'd jot this down for some info as there was none ^ Edited February 24, 2012 by YukiBlue
MikelAL93 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 This is a bit of a tricky matchup, here is my analysis. Relius' j.C can beat Mu's AA, you just have to keep an eye on the timing. Ignis can help Relius avoid Mu's steins projectiles; recommendations are 214A or 214C to charge at her, or 214B to attack her from behind while she is activating steins. This will help keep Mu under pressure. Relius' 236A can be helpful for avoiding Mu's normals and her Sword of Decimation, be sure to time it correctly while Mu is charging the latter. When in a corner, be sure to use 4D when Mu is activating steins in the air, this is useful for extending combos on corners, but be sure to stay on the ground.
YukiBlue Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Good info, But using Led Ley against Mu is far too risky for such a little comparative reward. Block it and pressure after, most Mu players will IAD away after it. Led ley is only good on wakeup, but it can be punished hard.
