I am! Never was that hyped for P4 in the first place. And once Guilty Gear comes to U.S psn ill be set until Chrono Phantasma, unless the skullgirl patch comes out, then i can finally start playing that game.

Only thing so far i dont like about Chrono Phantasma, is that Tsubaki's color scheme changed. Hopefully we could select her old colors in the menu

Was up all, after years of browsing this forum I finally made an account here. just introducing my myself formally now. I play GG and live on the northside (rogers park). U can usually find me at ignite network and game pazzo gatherings with the KoF heads. Ill be picking up GGAC on psn (jpn store) today or tomorrow and I wanna start playing with everybody here.

Welcome to the thread. I would usually be at Ignite Network as well but due to them moving I've been going to Game Pazzo as of late. There are some really strong GG players out there if you want some Good Games in for Guilty Gear.

So I gave up waiting and bought GG from the Japanese PSN. I'm going to need a lot of practice to be even slightly good at this game. I've practiced a bit on my PSP, but that's not really useful experience. Been playing at May, ABA, Anji, and Bridget, and I'm going to try my hand at Eddie. Thus far I'm thinking I'll be sticking with Bridget though.

Still playing Persona, if people are still game for that. Haven't been planning on getting BlazBlue, but I may reconsider if it looks particularly good, I haven't played since CS1.

I'm still planning on getting out to casuals sometime, shit keeps coming up though.

I would get GG from the Japanese PSN but i dont know how to do it exactly and i dont wanna make a science fair out of it so i guess i will wait. My friend Eddie likes playing as Eddie (hmm wait a minute...). Seems like a fun character but kinda challenging if i remember correctly. Though that's probably one of the reasons i play as ABA, the more challenging the character the more fun its is sometimes.

Hmm i wonder if Guilty gear Accent core or Accent core R will be available on gog. That would be coool. i mean reload and isuka is, so mine as well put ACr on.

It was really quite easy and painless, but then I know some Japanese. I just searched for ギル (giru), put it in my cart, entered my PSN card number as I was checking out, and then played GG on my PSP while I was waiting for it to download and install :D. JPSN still uses the old store front, so everything is in a place that makes sense and you're not staring at the digital equivalent of vomit everywhere.

As to playing Eddie, I normally prefer puppetmasters and the effort and difficulties don't bother me. I just kinda don't like Eddie as a character, and I'm not convinced I like his playstyle enough. Now that I can play on stick I'm actually able to give him a serious try, but I really think I'll probably just keep a pocket Eddie (once I'm less terrible at playing in general)

Yeah, that was me. I heard the PSN online play was better than the XBL version so I think you'll be okay. I however only have the XBL version so I'm stuck playing on that for awhile at least until my next paycheck comes in.

I'm really hype with all the new things I'm learning with Anji, I can comfortably say that he's better than my Sol right now. I'm gonna keep grinding GG and P4U since those are the games I want to focus on when I go to NEC, I know I won't win GG but I want to make a decent showing at my first Major where I'm playing GG.

Would go to Game Pazzo , but unfortunately Friday is D&D night with my buds. But i will defiantly make it out there one of these days. Probably when i get Guilty Gear.

GGS at game pazzo last night. There were quite a few persona players there. We actually had the most setups out of all the other games there.

I'm planning to bring some people over who are interested to game pazzo and wanted to know if you guys also host other games besides P4U, BB, and GG like skull girls, marvel vs capcom, Mortal kombat, and Street fighter.

Oh yeah there are tons of Street Fighter and Marvel players that always show up. But there are many games supported in Chicago in general like KoF, DOA 5, etc. As long as you bring a setup for it people will play.

Are there usually MK setups?

MK is usually a Galloping Ghost thing, ALL the MK heads play there but as it has been said before;

If you bring a set up, it will be played.

Game Pazzo is the huge hang out everyone goes to so they can enjoy themselves and have fun and at times we will run tournaments. If some of your friends are Huge fans of MK and the want top competition, they should hit up Galloping Ghost. The Friday Night Event at Game Pazzo os pretty much a cluster of every game thats played, some more than others (Marvel/SSFIV are the huge turn outs, everything else has a good showing too but not as huge as those games).

Not looking so good for me. I have family over for the holidays.

Team GGA usually has 1/2 people placing top 8 every MK major #f3sports #KneeSports, go ask on Facebook if it's open invite for Tuesday gatherings at the arcade since that's their practice/stream day.

GPazzo has enough room for 60 setups basically as long as people aren't being stupid and hogging space.

It was alot more enjoyable than I thought and it was a really friendly environment. As expected I lost but I came close a few times and I'm going to try and improve my play and see if I can do better the next time. I'm surprised I didn't see any GG setups though.

I havent been to a casual in awhile, but maybe GG isnt doing so well? Hope that is not the case. anyway as soon as school ends in about two weeks ill make it out to Game Pazzo so that will be exciting!
