BBCSE P$ and Seeing Inputs?

I just picked up BBCSE the other day. It is the first time I owned the game. Being a beginner I was just curious as to some things.

1. How and where do I spend P$?

2. How do I visualize my command inputs from my controller to see them on screen? I'm messing up my moves that require two quarter circles but I can't tell where I'm messing up.

3. What does leveling up do for me in the game? Does it unlock more modes? Or...?

1.Gallery, buying pics and stuff

2.I think that's training mode only, in the pause menu under display inputs I believe.

3.Allows access to the better things in the Gallery, I like Unlimited characters and such.

Where do you buy things in the gallery? I haven't seen anything in there saying "Spend P$ here". Like it's not obvious.

ummm....the stuff that obviously has numbers on it that doesn't look unlocked, arcade, and story mode pics are unlocked separately

Also P$ is used to buy unlocked items in Abyss mode, and you unlock those ites by choosing it as a reward everytime you beat a boss, which is mostly every 20 depth you descend
