For the J.ABA string before the J.2C in the unblockable, is it okay to make it J.AABA instead? It feels easier for me, but I don't' want to get used to it if it'll cause issues in the long run

Shouldn't be much issue unless you're doing a combo where the proration is already super tight. Ideally you might just need to air dash later though

soooooo I bought my copy of blazlue wednesday and it's already here

I ordered my screwdriver set to fix my ps3 Sunday and tracking still isn't available.... what is life . Really glad that my class was canceled today, gonna rush to walmart and grab some drivers to open up my ps3 now. Will post full story on the next episode of

"the WLAN story". Would rush to play challenge mode but I'm outta the loop and need you all to fix it

UPDATE: nothing's working. I'm just gonna buy another ps3 tomorrow when I buy my toiletries . In the mean time I need to unlock all the colors and unlimited Carl. Will see you guys tomorrow (or sunday since I have to work tomorrow night....)

ps3 was fine. something is wrong with the net card. I opened it the other day but everything was fine so it seems that there is a problem with the network card itself (which they attached to the mother board of all places)

was supposed to buy a new ps3 friday but of course i had to work until infinity

and saturday was halloween weekend

I once met an Azrael that backdashed on wake-up every time.

You can either just time your meaties a bit better to come out before the backdash or you can bait it out and hit them out of it.

Backdashes have invincibility but not enough to be safe at all.

I've been working on the generic sandwich loop into

Tenerezza delayed AD j.B, j.2C, j.B, j.C, 5B, 6B, 236A + 4D/anima reset and I was wondering how I'm supposed to do/time the 5B, 6B, 236A, 4D/anima part. I can do 5B, 6B, 236A no problem, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to input either 4D or anima in there. Also, what are his options after the reset? Does CT work for both 4D and anima?

I usually do (air dash into stuff), land, ground combo, [236A3214D (done very quickly)] or [4D1236A]. As for combos:

For anima, you have:

•- 63214D, 6]C[, Lv 2/3 6C, 5C, 623D, j.B, djc, j.B, j.C, 421D, 5C, j.B, j.C, 46D, 5C, sj.B, j.2C, j.B, dj.B, j.C, 8D, 3C (meterless 5k!)

•- 63214D, OD Cancel, 5A+B, 6]C[, 46D, Lv 2 C, 5C, 623D, j.B, djc, j.B, j.C, 421C, j.B, dj.B, j.C, 8D, 3C (Unburstable 7k w/OD + 75 meter)

For 4D:

•- 4D, 236A, 6]C[, 6C hits,5C, j.B, j.2C, 421D, sj.B, j.2C, j.B, JC, j.B, j.C, 8D

Generally, you can combo into CT during any instances you can combo into 5C so yes, CT would work after Anima and 4D.

Extra PSA: this isn't aimed at you in particular, Sodelic, but to everyone doing 236A crossup resets, make sure to practice them from other setups too. In every Carl mirror I've fought thus far in CP, I've blocked every single 4D crossup reset because everyone was doing the exact same setup (5B, 6B, Vivace crossup 4D) and likewise, people who know the matchup will likely do the same. If you only practice 5B, 6B, vivace reset, you'll autopilot this to the point where the reset becomes really telegraphed against people with matchup knowledge. I've made this mistake for a long time and now it's catching up to me when I play really good opponents who can block Carl mixup, don't fall into the same trap that I have! D:

I've been trying to avoid crossing up every time now that people in my area are starting to block it. There's plenty more you can do other than 5B 6B 236A 4D. I find that you can, in some cases 236A from CON to OCN to cross up 4D, then 236A again to cross up for the 2nd hit. 4D doesn't true blockstring into the 2nd hit so you can double cross up. The only problem is that you need to adjust your combo if the first hit wasnt blocked.

I won another local tournament today. Managed to hit an Astral on the last round of the tourney... Good times were had. There was also a GG tourney which I also won but a tad less convincingly until my 6-0 grand finals coming out of loser's bracket.

I still need to work on a bunch of odd hit confirms (eg. random CON brio) and work out unblockable setups off some of my less common starters. Other than that, just hard-core combo practice to make sure I don't drop anything ever.

Next week is a big deal because we're all heading interstate for a "major" (about as big of an anime tourney we'll ever get in Australia) and we're feeling fairly confident for BB and possibly GG.

Hopefully we'll find some videos of the event and I'll share them around here. Wish me luck ;D

In terms of just shitty matchups: We have a really derp Tager that's pretty hard to read and I just hate the matchup anyway, it's so easy just to die in a few seconds if nothing goes right.

Other than that, we've got a Mu that plays the matchup well.

I'm trying my best. Go to work, get home, training mode, go to bed, repeat. Casuals on every Tuesday and Sunday. Working hard.

More important than the main tournament though are the team battles on the Friday for both BB and GG. It seems like I'm on anchor for at least BB so hopefully I won't need to do anything. The trouble with these is that we fly in on Friday morning >_>

The funny thing is that none of these characters play the same at all. The most similar ones are probably Carl and S.Lab but there's still a completely different feeling. Eddie seems to play a whole lot more like Relius to me.

Hey, I've always been a Relius main xP vita matches say I've used Carl ~350 and Relius ~500 times. What's wrong with maining the Clover family? xD.

One thing I've been wondering, is j.B>j.2C>j.B not used much anymore because of thr combo timer?
