blackrabite Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Hey, just bought GGAC+, and can't wait to give the game a go after years of being invested in other fighters! I noticed in the demo that the game did not fit my entire screen and that the options were locked until I bought the full version; I figured there'd be a way to tell it that I am not using a widescreen display, but... so far, no luck. It's not a biiiig deal, but it would be nice if it would use the entire screen. Using S-video out from the 360 to my TV. Thanks in advance for any input on the matter - much appreciated!
blackrabite Posted June 25, 2013 Author Posted June 25, 2013 Heya! So, my display is already set to 'Standard' as opposed to 'Widescreen' in my system settings. Both settings still yield sidebars - the widescreen setting, of course, distorting the aspect ratio of the game on my standard def TV. Is there some config option I'm missing that is preventing the game from utilizing the entire screen and forcing sidebars and/or letterboxing? Thanks again for your time.
Teyah Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Sadly there is no way to fill a 4:3 screen completely on the PS3/360 port of AC+. However the PS3 version has a video option that allows you to zoom in, reducing some (not all) of the sidebars and filling more screen space on 4:3 TVs. Best used with black sidebars so you don't have half a logo/character on each side.
