Hello all, I'm relatively new to MUGEN (only just starting to learn how to add chars/stages/music) and I'm having issues getting some characters. If anyone here is willing to share some of their knowledge and/or files, I'd be grateful.

lulz. since this is not a mugen thread. there are no set rules. so if you're looking for a certain character (that exists hopefully) i can find it for you. hopefully chars from real fighting games. Duck that DBZ and anime and RPG zhit. i don't give a duck about those chars.

I don't think a good Gambit has ever been made.

Kenji/Mukuro the ninja has been made but he is a BETA. and i don't think he is out and around anymore.

for me its always full screen mode and i think thats why my computer freezes, cuz it does it when i try to put third strike on full screen mode too.

check the data folder.

and something called mugen.cfg

open that with Text.

it should have a window size mentioned somewhere in there and mess with that and see if that helps.

Does anyone know of there is a version of Rose from SF out there for mugen, and if there is, where I can get her? I am also still looking for Darkstalkers chararcters. uh...i dunno how to explain it exactly. just try taking those files and drag them over to your mugen folder? and if it says replace this with this say yes?

@1: Is Broken only if you don't fix it up yourself. you got to edit the chars the way you like them. (easier said than done -_- )

@2: What community? most are ppl who just come and go asking for characters. and the people who play it and edit it. There's nothing to hide. if they don't give something out it must be because that creation is not real. If there is a list of characters that people don't share is also because that creation was made out of stolen codec from another author and some mugen people (most i think) don't like that so they don't distrubute that stuff out.

also you can always google search for chars. o_O

I'm not part of the Mugen Community but I know enough of what characters to direct people to, to the authors web page.

If you put up a mugen game it's Wharehouseing and the whole "community" attacks the stie you posted said game on until it's taken down. Happend to me a few times.

Yea the "Community" doesn't like Warehousing cuz ppl put up things for download that they didn't create so that's why you gotta link to the author's homepage o.o.

Or at least get permission from the author of the character so that you may host them on your site for online avalibility.

Try to just think of it like you written your Essay. and someone comes to take it and share it with others. You wouldn't be happy about that : (.

I say Dustloop needs a Mugen TEAM specifically for making characters.

Somebody to gather sprites and work on Palettes.

Somebody to write A.I. code./Inputs

Somebody to work on hitboxes/detectio[finput][/finput]nimation.

I figure it'd be easier if several people worked together.
