someonewhodied Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 This will be really helpful for us. When doing frame data simulations, I only just realized we can actually beat this.
Kiba Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Please be aware that stronger Valkenhayn players will use wolf brake in their pressure and there are certain types of blockstrings that you won't be able to beat by mashing, such as w5C loops and stuff like w5B > wolf brake j.A. Nu is easy prey if she's on the defence. Edited January 7, 2014 by Kiba
EXonestar Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Especially in the non-halo mode. I really wonder how she is suppose to deal with that pressure without any reversals. 5a'ing out of valk's pressure can only be done if the valk either doesn't know how to wolf brake or fails to do it successfully. hence the reason why he's such a problem for most chara (even with their reversal supers/DP's)
AchedSphinx Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Based on her character design, Nu is expected to defeat Valkenhayn by out zoning him. If she lets him get in, she's already failed to out zone him, and has to use a burst to get out, or counter assault.
EXonestar Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 I agree with that 100% but with the way wolf mode is built for him to just "avoid getting hit" , although Nu excels in making it extremely hard for him. he does get around......flying wolves.... and its quite easy for a 6d/5d to whiff and such. But i agree with you 100% - too bad we're human unlike Nu ._.
