I don't expect it to go past the epilogue with 2.0 arcade mode. Celica's arcade mode purpose, according to Mori, is to introduce the arcade players to Celica to those who don't know her. So once one have played the arcade, they will have some idea of who she is. Also, her arcade end takes place in January the 31st.

 

I would expect that Lambda's story is more of the spiritual kind. Rachel refers to Lambda as lost(迷子, don't know where one are), the only opponents shown are Rachel and Nu, and the stages shown on her arcade mode is "Adventus" and "Sheol Gate AD2199/12/31".

 

Edit: There is one thing I'm wondering about, Has Nine's left eye ever been shown in official art? I'm only wondering this because the Nine looking girl in Xblaze Lost Memories looks to be wearing an eyepatch over her left eye.

I would guess it either takes place after epilogue and make no big deal of it or it takes place in one of the rewinded timelines were Minerva was done earlier.

I mean it is a fact she never appeared in the Story Mode so while the whole crap was going on, she must have been doing something during the time otherwise it has to take place after the story mode ended, like right after.

I still question if she will be a stand-alone Murakumo or if she will be under Kokonoe again. I mean someone has to give her maintenance somehow unless she gained new abilities after reviving.

She's probably in the boundary, and if she will be revived for real, it probably will be in the ending leading to BB4.

Look at these screens with the fights she's doing in the arcade story, One is against Nu during the time when the cauldron was open in CT, the other is against Rachel when the cocoon was over the Monolith during CS. Neither of these would probably happen in the "present world" during CP.

Her eyes were fine during the Phase Shift novels, at least she wasn't wearing an eyepatch during her confrontation with "Bloodedge" though she DID wear glasses IIRC

Are we even SURE they're the same person just because they look alike? Remember: XBlaze happened 150years before Blazblue timeline and the BlackBeast shows up ~50years after XBlaze Touya should at least look more like a middle-aged man by then if Konoe and Celica are born at that time

It isn't called "Continuum Shift Phase". The LN series that exist are: Phase series(Phase 0, Phase-Shift 1-4, Dark War) BlazBlue series(CT 1-2, CS 1-2, Novel adaption of the games) Bloodedge Experience(part 1 and 2, set in a world similar to that of Xblaze).

 

And that girl isn't confirmed to be Celica, although she looks very much like Celica and Masuzawa wanted one to compare the Famitsu and Dengeki. Doesn't help that the girl next to her looks like Nine.

That scan is old, it's from when Xblaze was announced, August the 6th, so there aren't really any story detail there.

 

Rachel tries to contact Lambda. Rachel says some meaningful words to Lambda. Is Rachel seeking the reason why Lambda have appeared in this time...?

 

The other is Nu asking who Lambda is. But Nu speaks very informal, which is unusual (アンタ……「誰」? Anta... "dare"?)

She is an outsider to the world and Amaterasu's guardian. It wouldn't be strange for her to know much about them, and the same time keeping a close eye on them. After all, they are the biggest threat to amaterasu because if one becomes a successor, it has the power to pull out Amaterasu from the boundary, and could be made into Kusanagi.

Amaterasu got pulled from the Boundary due to Nu copying the Azure successor status from Noel,

 

and isn't Mu-12 Kusanagi?

 

So the big question is what Lambda has to do with all this right?

I meant it in a past tense, the reason why Rachel would keep an eye on the units. After all, Nu was meant to become Kusanagi with Ragna, but it always failed so Terumi used Noel in the end who possessed the Azure.

 

But yeah, what is Lambda? It looks according to the text that Rachel tried to contact her to understand what she is, since Lambda probably revived herself on her own, like Nu did. But since Nu has the her soul back, is Lambda a part of Nu soul? A copy? Something that was made as a side effect while Hazama was messing with Nu's?

do you think she kinda became like nu able to revive herself  because she had nu soul due to her soul being in her so long it created a synchronization  becoming her own individual kinda like creating a third life link

 

lambda became like nu like how nu became the successor to the azure due to the synchronization from noel possibly created a third life link to nu and ragna (you think thats possible)

 

so far as i know only 2 life link pairs i know

The Life-Link shouldn't work in the Boundary, so it can't be because of that.

The Life-Link work so that it makes the system observe two individual's as the same value, as long as one of them is alive, both is observed as alive. However, if one goes into the boundary, one is no longer seen by the system and thus the life-link is no longer active.

Yes, but it wasn't the Life-Link that revived her, it was her strong feelings for Ragna that did it. The Life-Link between Ragna and Nu should be active in CT and CP, but not in CS during the time Nu was gone.

I seriously question on what purpose would Nu and Lambda be fighting in front of Amaterasu o__o...

 

One thing for sure this sure didn't happen in the story mode so either ArcSys made things look cool with that or it serves some kind of purpose...

Depends of if you mean in the game or in the opening. In the game, it's at the gate but in the opening, it's in front of Amaterasu.

Pretty much saying, that giant machine with the BlazBlue insignia is Master Unit: Amaterasu.

 

Yesterday while reading some blogs and such, I am still wondering why in the story Makoto and Kagura did not remember Taro from Remix Heart and only Noel did, when Taro even said Kagura is his cousin/relative ._.

 

The developers made a mistake or what...?

 

Also is it true that there were some dummy voice clips of Terumi featuring him facing "Kazuma"? (Not Hazama). O_o

For the first, I don't remember that happen, Kagura even referrers to Taro in his arcade mode.

 

For the second part, Yes, listen on the 2:49 and 3:16.

Well in the story mode, Kagura was like referring to who called Jin "Jin Jin" before, but was like "who was it again..."

 

Kazuma... Hmm >_> Was this just like cast aside or is it in reserve for next game... It would be interesting if Hazama reverts back to Kazuma who was actually a nice guy back in Phase Shift. Relationship between him and Trinity are kind of tragic...
