no evo for me (no way in hell lol), but i also equally play HOS (robo for effort, hos for 'fuck it... i bet i can gunblaze my way to victory... or fafnir->fafnir' fun fun) not that im that great lol.... but ya.... i notice your Stormlockables doesnt have a Robo one posted stormlocke whaddup with that its prob some bullshit, like land his IK and actually mean to... without the dizzy or 200+ hit combo involving shenanagins we all loved in a certain youtube video :D

i temporarily took the battery out of my robo ky....after placing 6th at a mass tourney and losing to a sol bad guy im using more may now a days....but i havent stopped playing him just messing with another character right now...good news is that i won a robo vs robo 5v5 ny vs TGA match

Hey, new Robo-Ky player. Just a quick question: Is his only overhead 5D? Or are there other ways to do mixups on oki?

Hello.

For the most part yes. You can spend tension to use his Force Break and try to go high/low but due to tension usage penalty this is not normally worth it. Check out the info in the Robo guide for more info if you're so inclined.

One that I've been fond of since I made this video is: Instant Airdash in, J.s (blocked), J.hs (blocked), Force Break, steer down, land, 5k (connects), 236236s Punch Spam super, mash Slash till you are getting pushed away, then 236s headbutt, 2d.

The nice thing about this is that since the Punch Spam can go on for awhile, usually by the time you knockdown with the headbutt you are not restricted by tension penalty and can begin gaining meter again.

But on the easier side of things, thankfully his 5d is the fastest in the game.

I don't mind going off topic to a certain extent guys, but can you take this to PMs or AIM? Thanks. Also, GO DOGURA! It's cool his team took first, but it's too bad for us that it was a May OCV. We'll have to wait to buy the SBO DVDs, before we see anymore Tin Man action. Sometime around October I think.

Just came here to brag about an awesome match I got earlier today against my slayer friend: gold burst into overclock, got an SRK, then horsie'd into dame-dame. at 1 sec to explode, I cancel dame-dame into another SRK, wallbounce into my explosion. I finished him off with j.D We had to respect each other next round.

ok so for next saturday's 3 on 3 same char tourney there is a roboky team named ねずのガチンコ24時間限界 featuring the chars ねず(nezu) える (eru) どぐら (dogura) (could someone translate the team name?) and so far 8 robokys appearing in the normal 3 on 3 tourney the next day yay hype and hoping for lots of vids

I don't know if this was discussed before but I have few questions: I scrubbed around with Robo-ky for a while back then...knowing just basic combos and all that jazz. It was only recent that I got into Robo's cool LV2 missile loops and damaging combos. There was one combo stood out of all Robo''s CV which was: (2K or 5K 5S) 2S 5HS FRC Dash [5P or 2P or skip] 5S [sj.KP or sj.KS] Missile AD sj.whatever 1) Is this combo practical? Is this combo worth doing than just regular combos? 2) Is this combo character specific? Or Can I just change the ""Dash 5P 5S with 2P 5S" and "sj.KP with sj.KS" depending on character and works on everyone? 3) When I AD and continue combo, is it possible to go into LV2 missile loop or is that character specific again? 4) Which LV missile allows me to follow up with AD after sj.KP or sj.KS, LV2 or LV3?

Air dashing after missiles is all about spacing and there for is very situational it also has pretty tight timing..personally i avoid them...they look cool though. The idea for doing it though is that you space it so youre kinda away from them when you do the missile therefore you have a little bit of travel time before it hits giving you more time to recover. Also you should be near the corner so they dont fly away from you hit them with the missile obviously. As for character specific follow ups im not sure...i would assume your fastest air moves would always work. As for maximum damage its probably character/spacing dependent but i havent really played with it.

so i just came up with the most awesomest combo of the century and had to share.

hs frc 2hs frc hs frc air combo

they'll recover after 2hs

i got a good combo too break opponents P and K buttons, 2HS, dash for spacing, LOOP! i kid still tryin to get used to twin 5H frc combos.... still have trouble with the dash needed to do it :( frowntown

no...since when does j.hs have an frc? 5HS FRC 2HS FRC 5HS FRC -> (jump) -> air combo For the record this combo is for style points only and i havent tested it on much of the cast...believe i was doing it on eddie originally.
