TekkamanArk Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 So, about spamming Blast Blade for 50 levels, it's a level 40 skill.
Hollysmoke Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I think if I my make my F.Slayer look like something out of a 70s Blaxploitation film, I'll have WAY more fun with it.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 You can add my Vagabond now. It's "Reiterpalash." Fuck you, 12 character limit.
Hollysmoke Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I forgot to post this BTWhttp://i.imgur.com/MY2qN6C.jpg
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 10k physical attack. Sweet baby jesus. But that means you have to keep MP above 75%, right?
Hollysmoke Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 10k physical attack. Sweet baby jesus. But that means you have to keep MP above 75%, right? It's actually like 13k, I didn't have Stampede Rush going. The 25% extra damage applies to the attacks, so its %based attack using that 13k as the base, then an additional 25%. The tonfas have INSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANE mana regen. Everything dies so fast I don't burn mana as much as I used too, and when I do I get it back quickly. This is the life of a striker. We don't have fancy, flashy swordnanigans or CC or AoE room clear. We have punch and kick.
Hollysmoke Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 BTW if you don't already, follow me on twitter because I post a lot of DFO Fighter tech there as well, or if you wanna ask questions/need help getting carried through something/whtever.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FxuHwdE0lM No matter what the difficulty, I'll never stop hating biker enemies.

Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 Forbidden Land proven to be better than 3 Tower of the Dead runs combined, just gotta find those bosses. The best part is that you get to do it *twice.* Also, I dunno if I was really lucky the first, but when I got to that hidden goblin, HOLY SHIT. Crystals spread like a pack of spilled candy. Edit: Wounded up earning less than I did last time. Forgot clearing all rooms still plays a factor. That, and killing more and more enemies.

Also don't forget to do FL first when you start playing, if you burn 100 FP you'll get a re-entry ticket afterwards!
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 That much I knew already. Also, priorities here are tough. There are a bunch of dynamic ways of going about this dungeon all due to the fact that the secret goblin just teleports anywhere he wants and you playing hide-and-seek with the Stalker...uh, Chaser (I play a lot of Warframe). And to have a crystal conversion NPC in the area itself is pretty sleazy. In other words, FL is fun as hell.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 2.7mil EXP compared to the usual 2.2mil and 2.3mil this time. I'm getting the feeling that completing every quota for every 50 crystals found play a factor as well, which is quite hard because I never have the time to farm all the gold crystals.

Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Except this guy apparently has teleportation pills of his own. I kept track of his movements from the Forest of Disorder to the Vanishing Village. The instant I spotted him in the latter, I used a pill and gave chase. BOOM, he was already in the snow area. Still I do notice that he tends to stay in the hidden area behind the block of ice the most. You have a marginally greater chance of finding him there. In fact, the first time I was in FL and tracked the goblin, he was in that area. So I'm like "well he's not going anywhere, then." So I killed the Sasquatch boss, got the fire buff, melted the ice, and there he was. Just when I thought that finding the goblin was easy. lol Edit: A dfonexus user theorizes that spamming the radar causes the goblin to run away more often. That might make sense, on my first run I've only used the radar twice before finding him in that hidden area I mentioned.
Tsuki Garyuu Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 Yup, I've just about confirmed that complete the quota does actually matter. This is based on me being under the "BURNING" buff...and while I was using a Joah growth pot, but I don't think that had an effect. All crystal quota completed except 150 Golden Metastatic Crystal Kill lots of green enemies 3.7 million EXP All crystal quota completed except 200 Golden Metastatic Crystal Kill lots of green enemies 3.9 million EXP Also, WOW. When you have 30% Cooldown reduction on top of FEVER, THERE IS NO COOLDOWN! CUBE SPAMMING FOR DAYS! CUTTING PALMS CUTTING PALMS CUTTING PALMS CUTTING PALMS!
Solless Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Question: I'm thinking of playing again but my computer xbox controller will not stay connected so I tried putting my PS4 controller on. I tried input mapper but the game recognizes it as a xbox controller and I can't designate shortcuts to the D-pad. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix that?
Tsuki Garyuu Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 (edited) How do you fix that? Don't. Use xPadder instead. This program replicates the entire keyboard interface, making it perfectly adjustable to controller inputs. The game had bad compatibility with the controller by default, so I resort to this. For example, it will not read the trigger buttons on a Logitech gamepad, but since I can apply keys to said triggers on xPadder, that's a non-issue. Edit: I'm considering my FRanger to leave the guild and switch to another one. Now that my Vagabond is lvl85, I'm gonna be maximizing her in either OV or Ancient. Even then I still would like a few more chars to play with, and this time it will be with the other guild which consisted of some old guildmates I knew back then. I am of DungeonLoop, of course, just that I have 2 guilds on me. Edited August 11, 2015 by Tsuki Garyuu
