[August 17] BBCP Online Tournament

Hello everyone! I've streamed a couple of Street Fighter tournaments on twitch for me and my friends I know on twitch, but none of them are into anime fighters so I'm here looking for people who'd like to play in an online BBCP tournament!

 

The tournament will be double elimination, it will start at 12PM CST and will proceed until conclusion. The prizes will be the PC games Tomb Raider, Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword, and Rush. The first place winner will get first choice and so on. The tournament is only for residents of the US and Canada.

Hi everyone! I do think a couple of people from here signed up for the tournament, and thank you to you both. The tournament is one week away from today and six people have signed up so far. We definitely need more people so if you are free Sunday morning on the 17th and like to play BBCP please join us!

I really want to join this tournament but it will be the first I participate in. First off, what does double elimination mean? Does it mean you lose 2 games and your out? Like I said, I really want to join but there's so much I'm confused about.

Double elimination means you have to lose twice to be eliminated. The first time you lose, you are dropped into the Loser's Bracket. If you lose while in Loser's Bracket, it is only then you are eliminated. If this still doesn't make sense to you can read explanations here and here.

 

Also, I will be updating the tournament bracket as I go so hopefully it will be clear to you as it gets filled out. Also, don't hesitate to join - we all will be there to play/watch some BlazBlue and have fun!
