[CPEX] CP > CPEX Jin Changes Thread

After getting third at arc revo he went back to jin until CP2 and said "farewell kokonoe". Almost every single person who jumped to kokonoe went back to their old characters. She's apparently w/e now. Also he tweeted he finds this jin interesting (1.1 jin was the same character, it's understandable that he didn't want to play him again) because of the changes to neutral or something.

 

Back on topic, he confirmed a lot of the things we only saw on paper. D DP>3C just makes me smile, no need to spend another 25 meter to follow that up anymore, and you can still pretty much end everything in sekkajin which is also pretty nice. Average damage seems about the same. I'm a little sad seeing that they buffed ice arrows and now no one uses the visually improved OD Touga.

Yeah he's probably gonna be fine after all. 2C > 6B > 5B and Senshouzan > 2B anywhere on the screen are hilarious, now all we need to see is a decent universal corner route that doesn't involve spending meter or crouchers.

 

Lack of OD Touga in matches makes me sad too, people would still go for Getsumei though even without the Touga min damage nerf since you don't need to space yourself at all

First I thought they had killed Jin but after watching so many videos and combos I am totally happy, he is better now. Probably he will be better placed on the tier list now, but is still too early to talk about it considering that other characters were buffed as well.

Btw, is Fenrich still playing Jin? I have not seen any videos of him.
