This tournament marks the first of our final 4 BlazBlue: Chronophantasma Extend events before the launch of the upcoming BlazBlue: Central Fiction. In the grand scheme of the community, fairly few players actually have access to the Central Fiction demo as things stand, and the demo won't have consistently available netplay. We'd be closing off much of the ready and willing playerbase and likely doing more bad than good for our events at this moment, plus we always planned on having a final few farewell tournaments for CPE. With how surprisingly well last night's event turned out despite the present hype around the CF demo within the community, we're confident we've made the right choice. Once Central Fiction launches on the 6th of next month, though, we will indeed be upgrading and it will be the game used in all of our events from then on.
