DFW Millia here. Very new to Guilty Gear but I'm happy to play and learn whenever. Usually only free at night during the week or whenever on the weekend, though.

I'm in Houston TX.  I play every weeknight.  I'm a SF veteran and never touched GG in my life.  Looking to drop SF and play gg.  Getting my stick dual modded for ps3 so i'm stuck playing of pad.

Yeah this weekend I was joining districs that actually had people.  I was stuck playing with people in new york area and geting 4-9F

yeah 7B southwest had a few people there last night.  There were only like 2-3 people I got to play with a solid 2F lag.  Everyone else was fluctuating between 3-7F.

My preference is to avoid lobby room #1 due to the constant in and outers that will be attracted to a one off GG vs. experience. I vouch for #5 since it is the first non-beginner room. Basically if I don't see anybody join between 8:30 and 8:45 I will move on to play wherever or just D/C

So with the complaints of 1.02 patch, have you guys noticed any issues even when playing other TX players?

I just played with killnetic and we had a solid 2-3 frames.

People are saying the issue is the crossplay+ the patch. Just play with other ps3/ps4 users and for the most part you should be fine .

The issue might be a game region problem, @kdillon did you import Japan's Xrd disc? I am using an imported copy. Going to test ps3 NA <-> JP in a few hours with somebody who I know what normal frame delay pre-patch is.

 

Edit* more or less found that if you have the JP version and have the Leo patch, then you will have a bad time playing vs EN unpatched versions. The EN Leo patch is supposed to be out 12/23 according to Aksys. Hopefully frame delay calculation resolves itself with the patch. They need to version lock the multiplayer so people can't play vs others that don't have the same game balance changes...

Saw my first 1F delay match today on PS4, seemed great. I won't be playing almost any for the next 4 weeks until I can switch over to the TE2 from dpad. Dpad is pretty miserable.

No I'm playing the NA version. Yeah I was playing last night and was getting just 1-2F this patch sure did make things better. Yeah I'm also suffering with pad, the guy dual modding my stick just finished yesterday so I'll be picking it up today. Time to hit the lab.
