Hello everyone,
It was brought to my attention that an administrator of Dustloop was showcasing an insensitive attitude towards transgender members of the fighting game community. I would like to formally apologize for his behavior to the community at large. We have a strict policy on Dustloop regarding such behavior as mentioned in forum rule #4 (http://www.dustloop.com/forums/faq.php) and although this incident was outside the forums, we feel our staff, especially an administrator, should know to use better judgment as they represent Dustloop as a whole.
The staff debated removing him from his position, but he has volunteered to immediately step down before we came to a decision.
While no further actions is planned, we will take any steps needed to better the community as a whole. We hope we can move forward and continue to make Dustloop a valuable resource for the English speaking ASW community.
