Cake: Hi my name is Steven and my dustloop tag is cake.

Crapton: Hi I'm Max, my tag is Crapton but I don't actually post on dustloop.

Cake: So how did the scene start Max?

Crapton: Well the scene originally started in BBCS1. There was 3 member me, you and DF2K however DF2K moved and when BBCS2 came out more people started reaching out to us and then our community started to grow. So now our meet-up usually consists of 4-5 people and there's right now about 7 people in the scene.

Cake: So how often do we meet?

Crapton: We usually meet once a week however due to you living in salmon arm you come once every 2 weeks and at the meets we have two TVs setup. We'll play for about 5-6 hours with small breaks in between to get some food. The meets are very casual but we do try to promote improvement and a little bit of competitive play.

Cake: So what would you say to new players if they wanted to join our scene?

Crapton: Either Jordan I believe his tag on dustloop is Riyo, he's really good for getting in contact with, same with Cake or even myself so if you ever just want to meet-up or have any questions contact one of us.

Cake: Right definitely just get in contact with either me or Max or pretty much anybody. We're all fairly friendly we won't bite your head off.

Crapton: Yeah it's good that way.

Cake: So Max where do the meets usually take place?

Crapton: The meets usually take place in Winfield just sort of in between Salmon Arm and Kelowna which is where all our members are sorta located.

Cake: Are we planning to go to any tournaments or anything like that in the future?

Crapton: Yes, fortunately we are going to the Northwest Majors November 11th we'll probably be having 4-5 members showing up which is going to be fairly great. We're definitely ready to test our skills against the rest of the scenes around.

Cake: Definitely.

Cake: So what kind of characters do people in our scene play?

Crapton: Fortunately our scene has a very diverse amount of characters, we have 1 Hazama player which is myself. You play Platinum. We have a Lambda, a Tager, a Makoto, Ragna and an Arakune.

Cake: Great.

Crapton: So very diverse we have a lot of zoners, semi-zoners/rushdown and some rushdown.

Cake: The thing with our scene is that most of the players like the majority other than me and you are fairly new to the game but we're all... I'd say we all have our individual strengths and weaknesses like we're all good at something but we all have stuff we can improve on.

Crapton: Definitely.

Cake: So our scene will definitely be strong within a few months time.

Crapton: Yeah.

Cake: Just the more events we go to and stuff like that.

Crapton: North Westerns!

Cake: Max what would you say to players who are worried about joining the scene because they don't think they're good enough or that they'll just get steam rolled?

Crapton: They definitely shouldn't worry at all I mean we have a variety of players with varying skill levels and play styles. If they come they're definitely going to learn and improve off of a variety of people so I definitely encourage anybody who is interested to come.

Cake: Right, offline play is a really really great way to learn and even if you don't think you're progressing playing at home by all means stop by and play offline because it really is an underestima... underestimated may... underestimated way to improve at the game like not many realize how big of a deal it is.

Crapton: Yeah.

Cake: In closing thanks very much for watching this by all means if you think you would benefit by playing offline contact me or Max and I hope we see you around.

Crapton: See ya.

:) That is all for now. Next week is Montreal, Canada. Look forward to it.
