GODSGARDEN #9 features Persona 4 Arena on November 3rd

GodsGarden have announced their next event GODSGARDEN #9. This time round will feature Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, this will be P4A's first time being part of the GODSGARDEN series.

GODS#9 will take place on the November 3rd, 2pm JST, at AKIBA Drug & Cafe in the Akihabara district of Tokyo, Japan.

GODSGARDEN #9 shares a similar format to recent numbered events. The main tournament will be an eight-player competition, with two players determined by fan vote and the remaining six determined by the preliminary tournament right before the main event. As usual, the finals will use a double-elimination format, with all matches being best-of-three game sets.

Main Tournament

Double-elimination, 8 Players

Invites: 2 players; Preliminary: 6 players

Best-of-3 rounds, best-of-3 games

Same-day Preliminary Tournament

League competition, no player limit

Round-robin of 3 or 6 blocks

Number of blocks dependent on number of entries

The top 2 (if 3 blocks) or top 1 (if 6 blocks) advance

Best-of-3 rounds, single-game

Exhibitions

Details still being determined, but a team battle is planned
