Guilty Gear Xrd: REVELATOR Announced!

    • Guilty Gear is getting another update!

As reported by famitsu, Arc System Works announced another guilty gear installment today!

Guilty Gear Xrd - REVELATOR (Isn't that a mouthful?)

Loke tests are confirmed for next month with the first one set for June 6th!

Not only that but Johnny is back! The leader of the Jellyfish Pirates will be making his debut in Xrd to the joyous shouts of Johnny mains all over the globe!

Along with that we also have a second character yet to be determined, with only a shadowy silhouette to go on. Will this be a returning member of the cast, or a brand new character to slug it out with? Here's hoping we find more information during the loke test!

-More like later, whenever that'll be.

-At $8/800Y ASW prices, unless they decide to change it, which I doubt it.

-More than likely if possible, even though Vanilla Xrd is an OK port on the PS3.

prediction on mystery character.... 

The sickness that hits May in the story line changes her to some dark character or Alt Version. It ties in Johnny as well... think about it

I just want more in this game... more characters.. more game mechanics... just more everything!

      That's the thing, since that port released they have messed with the source code for the PC port. They added the button check feature and re-enabled Team Battle as an example. I think it was just a huge missed opportunity - it's the only western release that actually got those tracks ever afaik.

      Been a long while it seems (I say as I've never been on here prior to the forums re-opening)   If you're in Charlotte, there's a monthly bracket called Charlotte Showdown hosted at UNC Charlotte, and the group of fighting game players who attend the school also have meets every Friday that anyone in the area can come to as long as you can find parking nearby (you can DM me for info on the precise location of the latter and other stuff that may help if interested). This is the one I personally attend.   In Greensboro area there's Warring Triad hosted by John Mizuumi (shiburizu). I believe it's also a monthly thing, and shouldn't be too far away to attend if you live in Winston-Salem. I've only been here once, for the very first one (too long of a commute for me) but I hope to go again sometime in the future.

      I don't think it's a file size thing and even it is couldn't they have used steam's game version feature to trade OSTs?

      it'd probably inflate the file size of the pc version, plus arcsys was already messing with the source code so they just said fuck it why not
