UPDATE – As of earlier this morning, the Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R update is now available on Xbox 360. Players will first need to download a small title update before grabbing the Version Up CATALOG #1 patch from the Xbox Live Marketplace. While the previous link leads to the North American server, the +R patch should be also be available in Japan.
Players will then have to manually switch over to +R through the game’s settings.
Arc System Works also released a small list of changes included in the updated, which appear similar to those released for the PlayStation Network version.
A recent tweet by from Arc System Works’ event account has revealed that the Xbox 360 version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus will finally receive the R patch at 18:00 (6 PM) JST, which is 2 AM PDT, 5 AM EDT tomorrow, October 11. A smaller title update should be available now in preparation for the main patch.
It’s unknown whether the update will reach regions outside of Japan at this point in time, but we should have an answer in just a few hours.
Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R adjusts the original title with a number of balance tweaks and other changes. While it’s been available through the Japanese PlayStation Network for some time, Arc System Works USA has announced that the update will be released on the platform in North America before the end of the year.
