GunFrame - Xrd Frame Data App for Android - on Google Play & Amazon App Store

  • Looking to take your Guilty Gear Xrd frame data on the go? Don't want to sift through a clumsy mobile web browser to access the Japanese & Dustloop Xrd wikis on your mobile phone or tablet?

Well then, Community Member AnBi2199 (Twitter: @AnBi2199) has developed a mobile app for Android Platforms deftly named: GunFrame.

All that you need to know is contained after the jump, including a recent update which has added Leo Whitefang to the roster. It should be noted that as of this writing there are no immediate plans to develop the application for iOS platforms. iOS users can only hope that changes with a bit more exposure, including community input and assistance.

Check out the jump for preview screenshots of the app, as well as a few developer's notes.

Hello Dustloop,

over the last couple of weeks I have been working on a frame data app for Android.

The App is in its early stages of development but has most of the currently available frame data in it.

It is available on the amazon app store: http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?asin=B00RO37Q2G

Update (01/29/15): App is live on Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=anbiapps.ggxrdframetool

Quick note: I am not yet familiar with the Play Store dashboard, expect some hickups (and report any issues here or via pm pls)

The reason I am posting this is that I need a little bit of feedback on how things look & feel.

Hopefully you can enjoy the App :)

Feel free to request features. I will consider every suggestion.

How to use the Punish Menu:

a) Sol Badguy - 5K - vs Axl Low - All Moves : shows you every move of Axl that can be punished by 5K

b) Sol Badguy - All Moves - vs Axl Low - 5HS : shows you every move of Sol that can punish Axl's 5HS

c) Sol Badguy - 5K - vs Axl Low - 5HS : shows you if Sol's 5K punishes Axl's 5HS

Next Feature: Notes (Character / Matchup)

Update 0.92: (02/12/15)

- Added Leo's frame data

- fixed a typo in ramlethals frame data

Update 0.92 is live on google play / live on amazon app store

Known Issue: -none reported so far (except a few weird symbols when viewing detailed view)

Currently there are no plans to release the app for iOS.

I am sorry to disappoint all Apple users that are interested in the app.

For one I have never developed for iOS before and I do not own an Apple product (also the developer fee is $100)

Greetings AnBi2199

Found this a few days ago in my search for something similar to the USF4 FA-Tool app. It's really well put together and the only thing missing is that character notes/matchup feature that looks like it's already in the works; really dig the Punish Menu!

Thanks for clearing that up!

I'll write down to make a table with abbreviations

    • It has been years.  Anyways, figured it'd be a good place to have some CF2 Bang discussions regarding the character.  Just general discussion, but please keep it relevant to CF2, please.   Also, headlining this thread with Rychtors beautiful Bang guide here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UBO8rO3NFUsBE5SOkQTw90Kf-OEc9nVp7Yjny_MYJM8/edit?tab=t.0
    • Forums back, hooray.   Does anyone know if there’s a way to keep this combo going solo? In the clip I try to go into 4D8 loop but scaling is too high. Seems like it’s too high to 4D8/4D9 > superjump jK as well. I dunno if there’s any fancy extension in this context or if it’s just kd into house. grav_setup.mp4
    • dloop Forum revived, im like semi-active again in fighting games even though most local fg basically are locked behind Facebook the social media of choice of pinoy lmao(only have a burner acct there to access if i need to) some are behind some discord servers Anyways if your into anime fighters i know a place in Cubao, Quezon that pretty active that meetup at least once a month. Games played there are UNI2, Granblue, GG and such. Someone pop in Million Knights last time i attended. so post up your interested in some locals
    • I definitely had to build a lot of muscle memory but also hand strength in my left hand. I don't play WASD keyboard movement games so when I was first starting on leverless I literally did not have the hand strength to consistently move my fingers quickly for motions, and my hand got tired easily. That took some getting used to.   I've been on leverless for ~3 years now, and although there's still quite a lot of stuff I'm better at on stick (which I played on for 14 years, so it would be surprising if I could close the gap quickly!) I generally prefer it overall and can do most of my stuff equally well or better. The only thing I really struggle with is very fast and clean half circle motions.   I play on an ergonomic ver~l leverless controller now. It's the most comfortable controller I've ever used, and is much easier on my aging hands than anything else I've used. I still play some games on stick but I very strongly prefer my vertical leverless for most stuff.
    • I had actually made a thread about D&B on the Shmups.System11 Forums a while back, but nobody responded.   I actually do not own this game as of yet but it looks interesting and has some connections to Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, so I thought it might be fun discussing it as a topic.   I technically disagree with Ishiwatari’s view that Azure Grimoire and the Tome of Origin are the same book, but from a creative non-lore standpoint I guess you could say they are similar.   Someone also pointed out “William” who seems to share a similar hobby to Axl Low.   An interview with Ishiwatari seems to suggest that his writing is based on a “possible past” and a “possible future” and that D&B is set in the former (with GG’s plot I assume as the latter).   Anyway just think of this as a catch all thread for Damon & Baby!
