I've done all of Ragna's and 80% of Mu. There's really no trick to the Tager combo, it's just hard, it's also outdated to I wouldn't fret about it outside of achievements. Mu is a very different character. Most people say that she feel awkward. She is almost all about oki, which is a very different style than Ragna. If you decide you want to attempt to pick her up, I can show you what I know. Be warned, I'm new to her too.
