Guard stun is where your character recovers from blocking an attack, which is where instant blocking comes in. It allows you to recover even faster from block stun. Making it possible to attack your opponent in the middle of their block strings. While super blocking prevents guard damage and pushes the opponent back. It prevents you from attacking through your opponents block strings, due to the increased recovery time while blocking attacks.
