What: BlazBlue CS2 tournament! Where: The Gamers Guild 1203 Auto Center Drive Antioch, CA 94509-1381 (Google Maps link) http://maps.google.com/maps?q=gamers+guild+antioch&hl=en&ll=38.012428,-121.82898&spn=0.00639,0.02105&fb=1&gl=us&view=map&cid=2269304336141927684&z=16 When: July 16th (In time to practice for EVO!). Set-up starts at 2. Sign-ups shortly after that. We want to have the tournament start by 4 at the latest so if you're coming please show up on time. Price is $7. $2 venue fee and $5 tournament entry. Pot will be 70-20-10 split. Rules: Tournament will be Double Elimination. Best 2/3 rounds and matches. Might have finals be 3/5 matches depending on time and what people want. Unlimited characters and beginner mode are banned, as is pausing durring a match and any of these can be cause for forfeiter of the current match. I'm going to look into streaming, I'll update when I know more. We'll also need set-ups so if anyone can bring some let me know. Currently going to be ran on PS3 but if we get 360 set-ups I won't object, I think enough people have sticks that work on 360. I'll update the thread when I know more for sure but please let us know if you plan on coming so that we can get an idea as to how many people will be there.

So I have a very possible venue for a tournament out in this area next month but I want to know who would actually come out for a BBCS2 tournament. Also, for people who would come, would the 9th or the 16th work better?

I'm going to try to hold a BB tournament in Antioch next month (probably MvC3 and maybe another game as well, I'll see what happens). I need to go talk to some people about possible venues either today or tomorrow.

I was thinking of going by train as well but now I'm schedualed to work on Saturday which just makes things that much more complicated so it seems like I won't be going. Also, my monitor started making this weird high pitch noise when I try to load some stuff on it on my ps3. I hooked my ps3 up to a different TV and it worked fine so I feel like it might be my monitor, has anyone else had this problem? It almost sounds like the dial-up connection sound.

I understand. If we/I (depending if Solex can come) are able to get down there is there any way we could room with you guys? Also, Crosell, are you ridding down with them now or are you still planning on driving? I will, of corse, help pay for gas/room.

So what happened nor cal, we started actually planning something in advance and then stopped. Does anyone from nor cal going to this have a room already? Who actually wants to split one?

I was wondering about how we would meet up for rides as well. Would everyone going all just meet up somewhere (like hayward for example). Or would we just go with whoever is closest or most on the way for the drivers. If it's the later then i'd probably just ask to ride with crosell since he's closest. Otherwise... i'd probably ask for crosell to give me a ride to meet in hayward and go from there (provided Crosell's willing to drive people) :P

So is there no NCI in july?

I can do 60-75 so gas and hotel. There's a chance I can drive if no one else can but i'd rather not, I don't trust my car :/ Yeah, Haiku, hit up me and/or crosell for ssome 925 sessions. I'm also thinking about trying to get a tournament going out here if I can work out a venue. Would people come to Antioch for it? Tanner, stay in school.
