(I don't think I was misunderstood.....) I actually like it that way. In JRPG's, character development is pretty much the main character who's oblivious from the start and still a kid until he grows up a "little." For Yuri, he's an adult and he already knows what's going on. He strives on developing even more. Ever wonder why people say Yuri's a Western character stuck in a JRPG? It saves me the trouble of seeing some repetitive plot twist anyway. :P
