Spinoffs are an important part of their franchise--in Japan. And their problem isn't the games they're making, in my opinion it's the marketing. If you followed Graces in Japan, you'd know that they were marketing that game fucking huge. Real life mabo curry, drama CDs, song preorders, contests, DLC, the works. If they cut that in half and share some of that marketing hype in the US, the series would catch more word of mouth > more interest > more sales. We don't even get a commercial over here, Namco needs to market their games in the states (and EU I guess), instead of just translating them and stocking them on game shelves in limited supply.
