Ahh, the "bad fighting game day" syndrome. This happens to me as well sometimes. Some days it's harder to focus, and when you feel that you can't focus and play like you usually do it's best to just take a break and try again later that day or the next day since you won't be able to play as you usually do and usually ends in you getting frusterated at the game. Just keep playing the game and don't give up~

Taokaka, Bang, Jin, Noel, Terumi, Kokonoe etc. There's alot of rushdown type characters in BB. Best way to find a second character is to try the characters you like(character-wise and/or play style)in training-mode, and if they interest you, you play them in some matches to get a "feel" for the character.

Been training for about 1h now, still can't land my stuff 100%, but it's getting there. When it comes to combos, I pretty much went with combos that looked simple. Im sorry for asking so many questions, but what would be some good combos to learn when you're new with Hazama?

Im currently trying to learn this combo: 5B > 3C > 236236B > [214D]~66B > dash 5C > j.C x 5 > dash 5B > 5C > j.B > j.C > dj.C x 5 > j.214B I keep dropping it after the dash 5B and they tech before I can land the 5C. Does anyone have a video or something of this combo? Im probably miss timing some move by doing it to late/early.

Thanks for the reply, and yes, atm I think I should just stay in practise since I can barely do anything in a match and just get slaughtered online(I think i've played around 250+ matches and 95% of those matches are where I got 2-0 stomped).

I was wondering if there were any EU Hazama's that'd be okay with fighting a beginner. My Hazama is pretty much crap-tier(Can only do simple combos and my zoning is meh). I've been playing Hazama for maybe 1-2 weeks, but played Jin since CP release, so I understand the basics of the game.

I don't know if this is the right thread but, is there a Hazama critique thread?

Ok, so I can't do anything vs Kokonoe, im just free wins atm. Looking for more Kokonoe players to fight so I can improve on this MU.

Sorry for asking like 100 things on DL each day lol. When it comes to pressuring your opponent, what is the best way to do it? Like, are there any optimal strings that end with a somewhat safe move on block? Also, how/when do you set-up her oki?

Fenrir and counter-assault pretty much. The Litchi match-up is pretty hard in my opinion, it's pretty much IB alot and try to find holes in her pressure. 4D has 1-26F Body and Projectile Invul. which could eat her DP or other staff moves(Im not 100% sure though).

I see, so if im facing a character with a DP/fast super I should be careful after the 2C, and not just mash away. Thanks for the reply~

When it comes to pressuring your opponent, what is the best way to do it, and are there any "optimal" block strings yet?

So I was looking at a friends D-code and wanted to add him as a rival. I can't read moonrunes at all so first I hit L1, nothing happens, pressed R1, made a fart noise and turned his name purple. L1 is "Good player" as in not a troll etc, R1 is a "Bad player" who is an ass etc.

Had around 8 matches with a Litchi who bodied me super hard just now and I have no idea how to deal with her, feels like she can do pretty much what she wants. I could land some 6A's when she airdashed in, but other than that I spend the match blocking in the corner. Dunno how to deal with this character.

I want to get better at BB/fighting games, so I thought id stick to a simple character and improve my basics. Might be a stupid question, but is Noel a good beginner character for learning BB?
