Mm, now I've looked at it more, it doesn't look like Mai is actually transgender U _U Oooooh well. Though I still doubt it's a body swap, seems more like Spirit Possession of possibly a man-made body, as said previously. Humans can sometimes be born with breasts and no vagina though, so it's not entirely impossible that Mai was just "born like it" or something- though with everything said, the fact she "acts like a man" and all, I think it's spirit possession, but a very ditzy spirit who can't act feminine. Also, Mai likes Noel's cooking. Who else likes her cooking? Hazama, who is also a spirit. Spirits like terrible food, speculation conclusion!! (I'm not being serious here okay)

I didn't really care about this until I heard Mai was transgender. I doubt it's a "body swap" and BlazBlue are probably trying to incorporate an ACTUAL LGBTU character into the story. Which I think is good. However they could... handle this badly and make it offensive... transgender stuff is a delicate topic. But I'll definitely keep up with released stuff about this now. I mean I was KINDA interested when I heard it was drawn by Sumeragi/Sume who is one of my favourite artists but the story seemed meh so I was going to read it after a long while of it coming out buuut yeah.

To be fair, iirc, nothings been confirmed about original-Terumi, he might have been insane or unstable from the get-go. I mean, he created the Black Beast/Cauldrons/wanted to kill gods, he probably wasn't "right in the head" to begin with, but the Black Beast event broke the last things holding him to sanity. It's said above, he's not meant to be redeemable, so it can be assumed even before the Black Beast he probably killed people or had a strong disregard for human life. Also, someone above mentioned it but there's that part of his past he showed Noel which freaked her out beyond what she's seen before. She was in the tail end of the Ikaruga War, I think, so she's probably seen her fair share of death and violation of human rights, buuuut whatever Terumi showed her freaked her out. I remember after CS came out, everyone assumed it was Terumi beating up something... but I think it's more likely it's young-Terumi getting tortured for some reason. If it's the case then I'm gonna say Terumi was never right in the head from the start, never had a regard for human life (maybe even not his own), possibly was never human to begin with (he IS a ghost now, we've seen no other "human" character be able to do that). There are so many theories I've heard on this because there's only one or two details, and pretty much nothing is known about Terumi before Phase Shift 1's events. :U

At first I was like, "meh". And then I saw "Art by Sumeragi". As in... Sumeragi the doujinshi artist... Sumeragi who happens to be my favourite doujinshi artist? Now I'm interested. I hope it gets published into volumes at some point, I'd like to buy some.

Super late reply but yeah. But that's only because I'm a moderator on there. I actually post like... quadruple the amount on Blazblue.com's forums than I do on there :U I tend to lurk on here all the time but rarely post so yeah... And I don't have BlazBlue on PS3 so... it probably would be silly to put it D| Also I can't afford EXTEND auuugh... though only because I want the LE and am saving up for the MCM Expo... and cosplays.

It's like, £40/€50.]: The original Continuum Shift was cheaper...!! It launched at like, £30 (and CT launched at £20). I refuse to pay full game price for a game with so little new content. T __T;; I'm not saying it's bad and no one should buy it, but in my situation I don't really have much money to spare so I have to be super careful with game purchases LOL

I'm not going to get it until it comes down in price. I don't feel it really warrants a day-one purchase for me :U The only thing I want from it is to keep up with the community and balancing sooo T _T

Relius' joke ending sounds hilarious, omfg. I regret going to bed before the stream finished alst night, sob. Watched the stream last night and it looked like there was no illustration, just dialogue and stage art for the Cauldron.

I laughed SO hard at this, I can't wait for the dub. Mother-Hazama is a scary and wonderful thought...

So Caelica is the Phase character mentioned in Relius's story mode? Wasn't expecting, but makes a lot of sense in context. Valk and Relius being old rivals is pretty badass. Also Relius being ~from the past~ is pretty cool as well.

I'd assume it was because they looked the same. Um, it seems like physically Kazuma is smaller though. Terumi probably kept his hood up cause, if Kazuma saw they looked almost exactly the same he'd probably be a little freaked out. ...Possibly, I guess. Also, if you do, I will love you forever, even if it's only like one chapter or something \ o/

Just a little word of advice, you seem to have a habit of drawing collar bones waaaay too low to even be anatomically possible. On another note though, your colouring is rather nice.
