Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Still looking for clarification on this, if possible. I just don't wanna end up not having bought enough and then having to wait 1-2 days for another code to arrive. -

I'm somewhat new to these jpn psn shenanigans, if I see this right, psn version will be priced at 5800Yen and will only be available for purchase at the time its released, they dont have the preorder thing on psn (I guess its not even listed until the moment they release it), is that all correct? Just want to know stuff ahead of time to have it planned out :3 -

Well, Dustloop wiki lists her as Rushdown/Grappler Hybrid for a good reason. -

That is true and all. I see the point of people having to deal with them. But if you play as one yourself, you just beg to be just a little mobile. And no game has done that yet. Yatagarasu's Chadha is fine, since he has no problem jumping in, but other than that I can only think of Skullgirls' Cerebella as being the only mobile grappler. For ArcSys - they either make them hella bad and slow (Tager), or fast, but even worse (Bullet). Its very disappointing and really demoralizes you to just always see your favorite archetype in the lowest tier section. I woudln't care so much about it if they were just a lil viable, but they never really were. What I am trying to say is, making all grapplers bad characters to play as, should NOT be a viable solution for ArcSys, just so that no one is salty about them anymore. If you'll make them crappy, just dont implement them at all, but ArcSys' attitude of "well this character better be bad or else they wont buy next edition" is just somewhat childish. Hm, I don't think you can compare these games with Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and the likes. Hugo works out fine in USFIV, too. Its just easier for grapplers in general in those games, since you are not the only one not being able to fly around the stage like a mad cat. And I never wanted to play those games, just because its easier to be a grappler in them. Never liked Capcom-Fighters nor did I ever feel the need to try out KoF. Just personal preference tho. -

Yeah, if it'd be adjusted by ArcSys, Waldstein would be F- Tier in an instant. -

Watching Waldstein Footage, especially by 'Fuse Master' makes me all happy and warm inside. I was into Grapplers at the beginning of time, but then realized that there isn't any game that has a well balanced one and never could really get myself to play a bad one, since Tager and Potemkin were always the lowest tier of low and games who had okay grapplers like Skullgirls' Cerebella weren't really doing it for me, I totally gave up on the idea of playing grapplers. Even Bullet turned out to suck a lot, which then made me play Valentine, Hakumen, Nu and Shabrys. But NOW there is new hope. Waldstein seems to be S-Tier from what I read (if they dont change balancing for ps3 version I dunno) and him being fast and able to "fly" thru the stage even tho hes a big guy and still has them fun 360 moves like grapplers normaly do... I'm totally in love with him and hope to main him from the get go once psn version goes live. 27 days left. The Hype is so real, I can taste it on my tongue. -
Lambda ain't playable right now, so I voted for Nu.

Have they announced a PSN version? Will I be able to get it on the jpn psn? Importing to europe is kind of expensive as hell... -

So, can anyone clarify the patch situation for me? I bought the japanese psn version when it came out back in october, so why is mine still saying its 1.04 if the jpn patch came out on may 14th? IP locked patching? -
Has there been any infos yet on a japanese psn version? I guess it will be available there just as bbcp was?

Have been inactive for about 2 months now, is there any console release window for 1.1?

Chrono Phantasma Story Discussion [fun tentatively allowed again]
thiz replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Well I have the game myself, I wouldnt come here for information if I dont own the game myself. I think most people are here to just get some kind of translation per se. As I said on the last page, I am clicking from episode to episode but some translations or summarys in here are just so wildly taken out of order that I cant find this ingame. Also that guy on youtube will lose his account pretty soon if he doesn't stop doing what hes doing. Arc doesn't approve of people uploading their story modes. I'll probably have to wait for the english version then to play story mode. I'm not interested in "just" knowing the ending... sorry if I come out like a douche, I dont mean to. -

So we have no clue what happens between Ep 1 and Ep 7 exactly? -

Kind of hard to make any sense of the story translation/summary posts from the first few pages or so. Six heroes story makes sense, but stuff like "Starts out with tao and ragna at a restaurant" is stuff I can't find while clickling through any of these 3 story paths. Also I couldn't find anything for the CP path but that might just be me not looking for it hard enough. Its just super confusing. Everything in one post would be great to follow through, but as it stands right now there is one bit of information for Six Heroes Story Episode 3 on page 5 and then again on page 35.... just an example, you see what I mean. Its just insanely hard to follow and track down, but I dont want to sound unthankful. Just saying. -

And here I thought it was just me being too bad, good to see its okay to have problems with Terumi as a Bullet player. I now played about 30 matches against a Terumi (same player all the time) and yeah, if you lose the momentum and let him do his usual stuff, you really have to wait for him dropping something to open him up and get another chance.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, movement seems to be my biggest flaw, that and getting more secure in doing hcf motions, they only come out most of the time not all of the time tho. I never thought about blowbacks, thats a good one and I already tried to play around with the approaching normals you suggested, works out quite nicely.

Thanks for opening this one! I'd like to start posting my video, any help, self improvement tips and so on would be greatly appreciated. I recorded some footage of me playing with a friend of mine. The commentary is in german though, so if that should annoy you, just mute it... We played about 30 matches on releaseday and I won like five of them, we are however both beginners, I play BB since CT but only for its story mode, so this is my first time trying to learn it for real. However, here is the link: BBCP Online Casuals Things I have noticed myself: - I always try to get in with 3C or 1C, should do j.C or 236A instead I think - I have problems with connecting the basic combos that I tried to remember for day one stuff, after finishing the first one, its hard for me to do a second one right after - problems with 623 motions for 623B, I play with a stick, but it still seems hard to me to do a 623B 2DD to escape a corner - I should make more use of 41236C I think... - ...tho I have trouble timing a 236D after 41236C - I really have to stop trying to do random 720A's - and I somehow can't get the 1080D after 720A 720D to work, offline no problem, but for me it feels impossible to do online Thats what I found after watching some more replays of mine. Hope you guys can help me out, I'd love to read your feedback.
