The problem with tao is not her drives, yeah they could change that by all means, her drives was to save n got used and abused without a doubt, all im worried about is her launchers, ok so we got 6a, 6c possible, and 236c, so we could hav a good high low cross up mixup game but its all gonna come down to the launcher, unless she gets some useful ground combos without air we still be screwed,

I like the fact that her combos were hard, she wasnt a pick up chara, and other players knew how much effort it took to learn, if they make her easier to use whats the point, tao players will loose the respect of other players then

Im rather dissappointed how much tao is getting nerfed to the rest without a good buff, im not complainin but its highly fair, more information on tao would be grateful, or even an idea on her damage output / combo ways -
Well thats good to hear bout ab2 combos, but damn another nerf, whats it this time, cant use drive, or throw dont work, or if u combo the game jus screws u over and kills off tao, cant be far off

I would like to say i kno we are relyin on the japs to find new stuff, but jus lookin from the changes now i dont think there will be new things what the jap could figure out, she had 4 main starts, 6a not much damage, or combo that well, 6c due to slidedown on wall unless a drive can hit its gonna be corner only, 3c well we got nothin off that unless they reduce the recovery time to make dash 5b possible on every chara, then 236c which is slow as hell, easy to see coming n due to same drive damage wont work that well, i think she will be more noel in ct, she could only drive combo for damage, or a risky 3c for haida, unless they were crouching, all im sayin is we need our opps in the air to combo only 6a and 3c could do that, unless we get some cool ground ccombos which is doubtful cos its not her game style, p's its early sorry if i didnt make much sense

Hey guys i know i said lets have faith in tao, but i got an idea for aks to do with her, jus throw her off the damn cliff, they have destroyed her in most ways i can see, its hurtin inside with all these buffs,

Hey rikku, could u explain what ur post meant, im on my phone n all i get is square boxes, on another note, lets still hav faith in taokaka, it could be worse, tho she does av a chance to drop like rachel, u still get some good rachels, n i seen her do some good damage,i think we all are worryin to much

I hope they dont take away the combos from 3c, its my best combos from that lol, i pray to the game gods they dont take it away, but who knows eh

I prefer j2d'c x2 combos, look cooler, thats jus preference tho, best combos i would say is A cancel land combo's wow heh, whats everyones fav combos not jus damage wise and no taunt combos :O

I agree with riku, its pointless learning them combos, with the amount of time ur tried to learn, forget them jus use drive cancels, more damage, easier to time, once u get the hang of it, n its not really chara specfic, u will get more out of tao if u start learning them now, i dnt mean to come across snappy my apologises if it seems that way

Jus somethin to think bout, her changes in cs2 wont that affect the combo mode, so they will hav to change that as well right, so if they do that then will also be a start on learning new combos, give us an idea how tao works then,

Yeah most of the changes i doubt will stay in my opinion but we will have to wait and see, on anither not i was messin around in trainin the other day and noticed for 3c - 5d, u can wait for the 3c to finish after recovery and drive will still hit, now im not sure if its big chara only but the one change in the lokitest mentioned not able to cancel 3c so we still might be in luck,

No flippin way, i cant use tao without 3c combos, thats my game, plz dont make is like this, 6a combos never look as cool, hmmmm shall i break my disc now or tomorrow

Question for the admins of this forum, im curious if this thread will be deleted after the patch comes out as the old combos will more than likely be non existent, so the information will be false, perhaps start a new sticky after

Ah ok then dude, i didnt know that one lol, i was jus messin around n found that out, well the good thing is with mine it crosses over mid combo, so if ur in the corner it will take the opp back to the corner, but thx for that one xdest ill give it a shot

Hey i was jus curious if anyone had managed to try my combo and give me thier thoughts on it, works well against litchi, tsubaki, hazama. The 3 hardest to combo properly, comboo is: 5b - 3c - 5d'6 - j2d'b - 5b - 2d'6 - j2d'c - j2d'c - jc - j9d'9 - j3d'3 - cs2, or if there is a way to tack more damage on it if possible

Hey calm down dude, every chara mixup u can jus dp it, so bait it, hit them with fatal do big damage n continue, the execution is alot different from sf, she dont hav no reversal but she can get out of block strings, instant gaurd, air instant gaurd nd punish, its not that hard, and tao is not the only chara for chara specfic combos, all chara are like it jus the way it is dude

Hey there, i have found a new combo for litchi, haz and tsubaki, does work on everyone but there is better combos for everyone else, well here it is: 5b - 3c - 6d'6 - j2d'b - 5b - 2d'6 - j2d'c - jc - j9d'9 - j3d'3 - cs2: for 3382 damage, its easy to do but hav not fully tested for bigger damage yet, edit: after a couple of hours of testing i found a couple of things out, u can do the j2d'c twice to take it over 3500. The other thing is if u start with 5c or 3c u can also add another j9d'9, works on a counter hit 6b as well but not on a jc regretably, i hope this helps u all, and keep u updated if i find anything else

She always had that gatling, but only reliable in the corner due to major pushback, less pushback off 3c would be a good buff tho, still interested in how her combos will turn out in final edition

I cant believe these changes what they are even considering, j2d more verticle what the hell, not only will it kill her combo game slightly but mixup as well, all they had to do was remove taunt loop problem sloved, 6c no more combo unless in corner, it wasnt a easy move to hit with at the best of times, now its pointless all together, 6b slower its her only low crush unless u count cs3 they both are slow either way, GOD DAMMIT what are you doing to us,

Well it dont work on tsubaki that well i noticed, at the moment i still 5d'b whiff combo with her and hazama till i find somethin little better, at least thats more realiable

To post above, i cant quote as im on my phone, but it is defo 3c dude, and i did say only use it on litchi, due to 5c - 2d does not work well on her, im still tryin to find something that works better on haz and tsubaki, everyone else i 5c or 22c if im close enough
