I hope this doesn't mean 22C>6D in the corner is gone. It was such a lag friendly input. The scrub in me doesn't want his combos to become hard, he's already kind of all or nothing. Wait 236D can be super cancelled on block? Oh god I can see some hilarious shenanigans coming out of this. It more than makes up for possibly harder combos.

That half a second of her with those two flying mouths looks more like an intro scene before a boss fight. Without the hat she looks like a cross between Parace from AH and a Murakumo unit without armor.

If that ganguro Valentine ends up playable, I think I've found the character I'll want to play besides Millia and Bedman.

It gets worse when you fight characters with wide normals like Ragna, Mu or Hakumen.

He has almost no mix-ups to open people up with. His command grab can easily be 2A'd or jumped out of on reaction and his only standing overhead costs 50 heat with a highly visible super-flash included. All he has left is normal grabs and j.2D gimmicks. You can literally down-back your way out of a situation if you've seen his gimmicks enough. He's like vanilla P4A Liz. Lots of damage, lots of meter, not much else.

I want Terumi to get some buffs, because right now he is a little underwhelming.

This game's designs are sitting on a 3-way intersection of ew, meh and kinda cool. Trying to stretch one type of weapon over an entire fighting game roster is both daring and dumb. Long story short, my opinion is mixed on this.

For me it depends on the character. When I play Terumi all I can really do is play "In your face". With Platinum I do whatever the fuck I want though.

I was dumbstruck by the fact I lost around 40% at the start of the match. Also props for landing Terumi's counter, I wouldn't ever attempt to use that thing.

You can't use the chat when watching matches so it doesn't matter. Those Kokonoe FC combos tho.
