@Raf - as the others have said. My copy is R3, downloaded the patch 1.04. There really isn't any visible difference in the menus or anything (even OP remains the same). If Platinum is in your character select screen, then that is definitely the latest patch.

No prob. Props to the awesome combo! High damaging stuff. @Hazmat - not really home to test that combo right now, but I'm not so sure that works. Should 6C be 3C?

I recommend investing in a HORI stick. Or pwede ka magpagawa ng stick for around 5k. Yung ibang members dito like cokesakto and shishiwawa yun ang ginawa. Ok na yun considering that it'll last for years. Yung HRAP3 ko na stock since around 2008 ko pa ginagamit and I haven't had to repair/ replace any parts.

Same thing with me. I was able to download and install the SOCOM patch when I bought it. This was when PSN was down already. Although I'm not sure how that works since I assume that no PSN = no internet. Or, it could also be that the patch was already in the game disc. In any case, no point in speculating. Let's just wait for it when it comes.

@Duqs - let's look at other ways to raise the funds. Di pa naman na eexplore lahat. I was thinking along the lines of having a fund, where we can raise money through a series of events. Even if we send one person, it'll be fine. It really depends on how the meeting with Gelo (the BBPH ambassador) and rebel2 goes. I think raising around 7.5k, with all the people we have, is VERY DOABLE. Di malaki yan. As far as lodging, was hoping we can just bank on goodwill . Look, HK was able to do it. We can ask the SG guys on how they were able to pull it off.

Ok yan pag nag tie up tayo sa Rebel2SG (yung SG counterpart natin na focsed sa BB). And we can hold qualifiers here for example and make the prize for the top 2 be a trip to SG to participate in one of their majors. I think the random seeding eliminates any chances of "counter-picking" before the tourney even starts... kasi di mo naman malalaman yung kalaban mo until na set na yung bracket. "Counterpick" against someone in particular, eh maliit naman probability na makakalaban mo yun... And as mentioned, di naman pinupublish yung registered chars before the event, more on afterwards na yun. @SGFinest Propose tayo ng dual meet with them haha. Prepare tayo ng Philippine contingent to go up against their best. That would be awesome for the Philippine community. Another reason why we need to raise funds... Malakas Singapore guys ha. Nakalaro ko mga yan through hamachi dati sa Melty Blood. Unlike us, they have actual arcades and very active yung FG community nila. Seriouz biznezz mga yan.

May SG trip?! Kelan? I'll leave it up to our graphic artists for the initial design, then comment if needed. Syempre ok din nga kung madaming "studies" on the design.
